Do I chop my hair off or not??? The pictures posted are of my long hair at its prime and my short hair at its prime. Then today. Ick! The short hair was my last non-trim in September or August. Its going ti take a while to grow. Thoughts?? I hate the heat on my neck :(I

chop!! i think you look great both ways, but since your hair right now is not too much longer than the short cut, i'd keep enjoying the short look (and hair off your neck!) for a little longer before settling in to grow it back

Hahaha I don't post anything for over a week and when I do it's me fishing for compliments!
My problem is if I cut it, I'm stuck for a long time bc my hair grows super slow (it has taken me 9 months to go from the 2nd picture to today).
I asked DH his opinion for the first time tonight, he's NEVER told me he prefers one over the other, always just says if he likes the specific cut or if its "not his favorite". Tonight he said "grow it out, would ya? I really liked it long. Not that I don't like it short...just really really liked it long" so for the man who never requests anything? I'll endure the ugly stage.
I know I will eventually go back to short though...it's so much easier!!
I really want to chop it. Ugh! I'm a fickle beast........;-)
Has anyone else done what their DH requests (or not done?) we def don't have a relationship that we tell each other what to do AT ALL so when he voices his opinion I feel like it must be something he really likes/wants/etc...?

Dan likes my hair short, so I keep it short. He would never tell me how to wear my hair, but as his wife I want to look good for him, so short it is (short for me is like your long hair!). I think it's sweet that you're considering his opinion!

At the very least get some layers in to thin it out some, that always feels better! If you chop now, it should be growing out some by the time fall comes around.

Grow! I'm partial to long hair and I think most men prefer it, too. Sounds like your DH does
To answer your question, my husband and I are similar to you guys as in we don't really tell each other what to do as far as personal grooming goes. However, from little comments he's made here and there about other ladies I know that he prefers long.

@babyjmama: I keep my hair a little longer for DH. Although I would love to do a chic angled bob (for *cool* hair), I won't really think about doing it until I lose the rest of my pg weight. For now, I am happy to wear my hair in long layers down just below the middle of my back,
