I would totally love a robo-nanny. Or even a holographic helper, like The Doctor in Star Trek: Voyager.
How awesome would it be to tell your robo-nanny: "Olive is not feeling well, so hold her until she's asleep and then put her gently into her crib. If she wakes up and is fussing, leave her.. .if she's screaming frantically, pick her up etc. etc."
Parenting would be so much easier with a live-in robo nanny! I'd feel bad though for oppressing their rights and not paying them by the hour.
In the future when they have robo-nannies, would you use one?
