So we were at a daycare event this evening and one of the other parents paid us a creepy compliment. He said "your daughter is so pretty that I always think about kidnapping her". Um yeah, how about you just tell me she is cute and leave it at that. Now I am never going to forget he said that! Kidnapper!

@regberadaisy: well he said that he tells the TEACHERS this all the time so they already know. He wasn't really creepy himself, just his comment was and his own daughter was standing right there, too. What must she think? She is in pre-school so she definitely understood it.

LOL. I've made an inappropriate comment to my friend about her LO. I told her I would "teach him" about the birds and the bees because we were talking about finding condoms in our kids' nightstands when they're older. LOL.

@TurtleDoves: I am totally guilty of saying "I could just take her home!" Not in a creepy way though! At least I hope not! I worked at a daycare and part of my time there was in the infant room! I did know the parents though, I wasn't a complete stranger!

@Rubies: My aunt said something similar to me...she was like "oh you must be sad because your daughter looks nothing like you and is so much prettier than you.". Then as her friend is commenting on how pretty LO she says "yes, she's a beautiful baby because her father is very attractive"...ummm, this is my aunt not my husband's aunt.
