How long did you use the head/body insert for your car seat? We have a graco that is all one piece. LO is 12 weeks old and about 11lbs+. I'm thinking of taking it out but I'm not sure if it's too early.

Check your manual. For the Chicco key for you must take out the infant insert when the baby is over 11 lbs.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Um... I just took the head piece out this week. C is almost 9 months old. Oops.

Durr, I didn't even think to check the manual, lol.
I just did and our graco snug ride 35 says "only use head and body support with bottom 2 slots of harness." So I guess we'll keep using it until she moves to the 3rd slot.
