@ladybee: My appointment is at 745. All I know is that I'm going in for a beta test. No idea if I will find out results right away or get called a bit later. I wish I knew more.

@marionberry: 7:45 is great for you guys, but thats 10:45 for me. I hope you get your results right away but I don't know if it happens that fast? FX for you!

@spaniellove: I tested out my trigger, and it took 10 days for it to be completely gone, so at 8dpo the test was completely white. But mine was gradually getting lighter each day, not staying consistent. Although, I didn't start testing until 4 or 5 DPO, so if you're testing earlier that might be why it's not changing yet.

Took a 4 day femara dose on day 3-7. Scheduled to go in on Tuesday for my day 13 ultrasound. Then should trigger shortly after. Crossing my fingers that this second IUI works.

@marionberry: I think generally they call you later in the day? Wishing you lots of luck tomorrow!
@MrsCB: 2 days ago I had a line that hadn't faded in a few days, and today (9 days since trigger, 8dpo) it's faint but still there. I guess tomorrow it should be gone?
coconut / 8472 posts
@spaniellove: Maybe it'll be gone, mine seemed to take forever! Every day it would look so light I would think that it must be gone by the next day, but it kept showing up.

@ladybee: when they did my other blood tests they called me about an hour later with results..so that may be what they do this time as well. I hope it's not a really long time we have to wait.
@spaniellove: is it ever possible for you to be so pregnant that your trigger never fades out and your hpt always shows a positive? I mean you had great numbers and tons of follicles, so I'm just curious.

@bluestriped bee: Good luck on your second IUI! I've heard that usually by the third it works, so I have great hopes for you!

@marionberry: if you test out the trigger it typically either gets lighter and goes away, or gets lighter then darker. I suppose if you implant early it could stay dark/get darker.
nectarine / 2152 posts
The trigger shot line should definitely be getting lighter each day! That's how the drug works, it's level decreases in half every 24 hours. If you have a line that is staying the same or getting darker, well...I won't even say it so as not to jinx anyone but...I think you get what I mean!

I had my appointment this morning to check on how things are going with the Clomid. I had two follicles - one measured at 20 and the other at 27.5! That sounds really large. They told me I responded well to the Clomid. It might be why I've been feeling so bloated and heavy. I got the call about my bloodwork results and it turns out I'm ovulating today so I had to do the trigger shot this afternoon and tomorrow is my IUI!. This is all going so fast - but then I know I'll be in that dreaded TWW and it will creep by.
Wish me luck tomorrow - here goes my first IUI!

@marionberry: I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!!! I'll be at my IUI when you're getting your check-up. I hope you get your results super fast

@bluestriped bee: Did you do more than one cycle on Clomid? I'm just curious why this cycle is with Femara. Sending you lots of positive thoughts for this cycle!

@sweetooth: Wow! 27.5 is a huge follicle! Super excited for your IUI. How great that we'll both be at the RE at the same time. I hope I have good news and that your IUI brings you a big, healthy baby. How exciting! And yes, I found the TWW to REALLY creep by this time. Are you testing out the trigger? Temping?

@MrsCB: Thank you for the info. Just curious since I didn't do it myself.
@spaniellove: @kentuckygirl: Give a symptom update!!!

@sweetooth: Wow! Good luck with the IUI tomorrow! With a huge follicle and another great one, I am hoping you will have some good news this cycle!

@marionberry: I may have had some dull cramps the past few days or I could be imagining things but my boobs are less sore than the past cycles when I have been on progesterone so it's hard to say! Do you have any symptoms? I am going to start testing out my trigger tomorrow morning. I was out of town this weekend with my parents and testing out the trigger just wasn't worth the effort. I anticipate still having a faint line tomorrow, so hopefully I'll see it finish fading out...and then fade back in
pomelo / 5041 posts
@kentuckygirl: My boobs didn't get sore like they usually did until way later this cycle, so don't worry about it. AFM, sore boobs and nipples for sure, the cramping has waned to just every here and there now, totally emotional yesterday, and today some bouts of nausea/lightheadedness. However, I know that all of those things can be explained. The boobs are the only thing that make me think I might be pregnant, just because they've never ached and hurt like this before, but who knows.
We did go to the bookstore today though and pick up some baby books just in case. I wanted to know what I was supposed to be doing, eating, etc right away if we get good news tomorrow.

@sweetooth: That is a huge follicle! Lots of luck with tomorrow's IUI!!
@bluestriped bee: I hope this is the cycle!
@marionberry: I was warned that the progesterone supplements would cause a lot of symptoms so I'm trying not to symptom spot...plus I felt absolutely nothing after the trigger! But my boobs are just insanely painful, which must be the Endometrin.
nectarine / 2705 posts
@marionberry: I'm going to try and do absolutely nothing. Not even symptom spot. This is my 18th cycle, I'm kind of over paying attention to any details during the TWW. I'll be thinking SUPER positive thoughts for you tomorrow!
@kentuckygirl: Thanks! Hope you had a nice weekend with your parents and that you get good news soon!
@spaniellove: Thank you!

@sweetooth: I know what you mean about being over symptom spotting...I think I was pretty over POAS and symptoms several months ago.
pear / 1786 posts
@spaniellove: I am also "over" POAS but my first IUI is giving me some hope again! I actually posted on the POAS thread for the first time in several months.

@sweetooth: Good luck tomorrow! That's so exciting. I bet it's going to be difficult falling asleep tonight!

I agree with @kentuckygirl. I was do over it until this first cycle with iui. It really gave me a new sense of hope. If it's negative tomorrow I'll probably go back to being cynical again.

@sweetooth: Actually my doctor put me on Femera from the start. I have never been on Clomid. I heard better things from femara from what I read online. I don't know why my dr chose to start me on Femera first. Maybe I'll ask her when I see her on Tuesday.
Good luck on your IUI tomorrow!
@marionberry: @spaniellove: thank you!

@spaniellove: @kentuckygirl: @marionberry: I think it's just guarded optimism for me now But I really am filled with hope for so many of us on this thread!
@derevival: thanks! It was pretty easy to fall asleep since I was up early for my bloodwork appointment yesterday. But now I can't focus at all! I just want to get in there and get to it!
@bluestriped bee: I definitely didn't know about Femara until I heard about it on this thread. I'll probably talk with my doctor about it too, just out of curiosity. Thanks for the good luck!
@Shutterbug: @Jennimac: Thank you guys! I'm so excited to get this show on the road.

@bluestripped bee: my doctor is switching m from Clomid to Fermara. Clomid worked but I've had bad cramps all cycle and I've been really hot. He said Fermara doesn't come with side effects. He did say it was more expensive than Clomid but with our insurance it was actually less ($5). I'm nervous to switch of Clomid since it's working but my cramps are horrible. It appears that if Clomid worked, Fermara will too!

@marionberry: I'm just sitting here hitting 'refresh'. I was just hoping they'd at least let you POAS so you have news faster than with a blood draw?!
