@locavore_mama: I no longer trust myself to stash cute objects away from LO. I ended up giving her a stuffed animal I was saving for New Year's Day. I checked and they had those dolls at diapers.com (yoyo) it's a little more there but they usually have some sort of promo going on.

Resurrecting an old thread Christmas is around the corner (not really) and I'm up late thinking about dolls. I never did get DD an ethnic/inter-racial doll and she's so into babies and pushing around her doll stroller. Surprisingly enough, she pushes her rat in it, not her dolls. Go figure.

She has a 12" Corolle Calin and as much as I love the quality, I want something a little bigger. They came out with an ethnic version (Maria), but it's the same size as the one we already have.

Which dolls did you ladies end up getting?

We bought Vivi the ikea dolls. I showed her all three and asked her to pick and she hugged them all, so we ended up getting all three. I like that they are gender ambiguous.

She named them Niddy (the Caucasian one), Magda (the AA one), and Yane (the... Asian? I can't tell.). She loves these dolls.
