Statistically we would not have been likely to find out but enjoyed knowing! It was more my decision but my husband also liked knowing. If we have a second I'd consider not finding out. There's some pressure from our families who want a girl and I can see not finding out because they'd be less likely to express gender disappointment while holding a precious newborn. We don't have any preference and boy or girl would be wearing much of big brothers hand me downs anyway!
