Carter's is having a sale online of 40% off all purchases. I've never really looked at the clothes carefully to inspect the quality or the feel of the fabrics?
Is this a good brand? Does it feel good? I don't like when clothes say 100% cotton but feel rough and unpleasant to the touch.

We love Carters, especially the first year as an infant! Sleepers, onesies, etc. They're good quality, but also affordable so you don't feel bad if it gets ruined!

I think it's a stable brand - not amazing quality, but also better quality than many brands.
I know exactly what you are talking about with rough feeling fabrics! Their stuff is soft!

We like Carter's too. My DS grows out of his clothes so quick, I can justify the cost of Carter's clothes than other super high quality clothes.

It depends, I found that this year, the stuff seemed to be different than it had been in the past.
I still get pajamas though.

We love Carters! It's certainly not the highest quality out there, but I think their stuff is cute and comfortable. It's affordable, which I certainly appreciate when kids grow out of things so quickly.

My gripe with Carters is there is crap all over their stuff. Mommy's Sunshine, I heart Daddy, etc. I don't want writing all over my kids clothes.
Quality wise it is fine. Works for basics. They usually have 50% a couple times a year.

I like Carter's, especially the PJs and the price is right. I would rather not buy anything full price at the store or online because it goes on sale so quickly.

I love Carter's! There's always a sale, and their clearance rack is pretty awesome. Even DH was a fan of their clothes and picked out quite a stash of outfits for DS!

It's comfortable and affordable, and we love it for school clothes. But I wouldn't expect their stuff to last through multiple kids. I particuarly loved it when we had a newborn because if she had a poop explosion and I needed to take drastic action (like cutting her clothes off of her) I didn't stress because it was cheap.

My LO lives in Carter's stuff. I don't buy anything with the animals or phrases though.

Pros:
Thinner cotton (good for summer, heat etc)
Good price, always have sales
Cons:
Often have annoying sayings (Mommy's Little....) or animals
Mid line quality (stains, pills, fades after one child).
Colors are specific to each season so often a pink from Spring, won't match pink pants or shorts from the summer line.

Love carters! They have good quality play clothes for good prices. They have some cuter stuff that dressier too that is great when it goes on sale.
