Yes, he's my type. No, he's not like any other guys I dated. I think he's my type because my type evolved over time..I dated a few guys when I was just out of high school who lacked a bit of ambition. At the time I didn't really notice it because they were at the point where being in school was acceptable. As they got older and they still weren't doing anything beyond a couple of classes it became apparent that they weren't my type.

My husband is very driven, incredibly hard working, can fix anything, etc. Very much the qualities I desire in a man.

Yeah, to a hilarious degree. All the men I've ever been serious about are, as well as all the men I find attractive these days. I've thought a lot about it, and I cannot come up with any better reason than 'that's how my father looked and acted when I was a young girl'. Which is sweet and gross, honestly. But my father was a really good man, so it worked out pretty well for me.

I didn't think he was, but he totally is. DH has a half sleeve of tattoos and when I first saw him I was like umm yeah probably not. Now I love his tattoos and that type of style. Except he is the biggest sweet hearted guy ever, I learned tattoos don't mean "badass"
