I have seen a lot of posts about pumpkin spice lattes and cider, and fall must-have clothing. Living in stupid FL, it's pretty much murderously hot year-round. So it surprises me when I read about *gasp* seasons!!!! I just forget what it's like to have them.
What's the weather like in your neck of the woods (yuk! yuk! yuk!)? Is Fall happening or about to happen? When does the weather change?
There are like 2 weeks in December here that I can *maybe* pull off a coat early in the morning, but it's hot by late morning. What's funny is that if it drops below 70 degrees here, I see people wearing North Face fleece and stuff:) I remember pumping at the gas station and my car dash said it was like 67 outside, and I saw a woman wearing a North Face puffer jacket with the fur hood. Seriously. People freak out and don't know what to do when it's not scorching here. It's pretty funny:)
I moved here from Iowa and the way people react to snow is hilarious - 1/2 inch on the ground and school was cancelled in December. I can't imagine warm weather all the time.
I remember last year it got cooler around early November -- just as in, less humid. I love the obligatory Facebook posts when people get into their cars in January and the outside temp reads 50-something and they're like, I thought I lived in Florida, FML! I'm like, get over yourself. It'll be 80 in another week..
