I saw someone refer to Google as being a member of a particular gender, and it got me thinking. Well mostly, I disagreed with their choice of gender ha!
If Google were a person, what gender would s/he be?

Yep, he's a Mr Google IMO. I actually call him Dr. Google most times because he fixes so many problems.

@mrbee: Yup, thats why Dr. Google is the perfect name because it can be male or female!

Google was born a boy but then had a sex change and became a girl.
It's spelled G ( . )( . )gle! Those are boobs!
Google is my best girl friend who always knows the answers and doesn't mind when I ask her really dumb questions.

I've never thought about Google as having a gender, but if hard pressed I'd say it was a boy. Not sure why though.

I always wondered why people said "Dr. Google" ...I thought it was a search option like images, scholar, etc. facepalm.

I’d say male. I call it Dr. Google all the time and my doctor is a man (even though I’ve had and loved women doctors in the past!) so I automatically think it’s a boy.

@MamaMoose: Yes! I think we are in the minority on the Google is a woman side. But we're right
@mrbee: Ha. Well, I was trying to think of reasons why Google is a woman and the double "O" stood out

HA! Depending on the situation it's always "The Google" or "Dr. Google..." I guess I'd lean towards The Google being male though...

@Thehistoryofus: Agreed. It's Dr. Google. And Dr. is a genderless term.
