LOL at whispering War and Peace to him. She's gotten a bit more but she also was a total sweetheart and took a super long nap during the day time parts that I really wanted to watch. Thanks, kiddo! It was actually worse during football playoffs because DH wanted them on all the time when he was home.

Even if we have TV on in the background she's not one to watch it, she's more interested in playing or building blocks. Weekends though...I cringe about how much it is on, DH and I like to watch Netflix on Sunday afternoons & sometimes that carries over to after nap as well

At night yes! DH loves sharing it with him, and it's just for half an hour before he wants to roam anyway. Sports bother me less, though I don't know if that is logical.

whispering War and Peace. That's fantastic.
She got a lot of screentime when we had a bad snow storm and when the NFL playoffs were on. She didn't really watch it, though. She would just look up every once in a while, then look away and keep playing.
Once the Olympics are over, life will go back to normal. Less than a week!

Neither DH or I are into the olympics this time around, so nope. When DH visits his parents and baseball is on though.......

@jedeve: I feel the same way about sports. DH watches soccer with her on Saturday mornings, and I don't really even count that.
I've been watching the Olympics during the prime time coverage after she goes to bed because I realized after the opening weekend that she was going to be watching it for a months straight otherwise!

@knittylady: nope. He has no interest in TV and we rarely watch TV when he's around.

@jedeve: Agreed about sports, I don't know why, but it just doesn't bother me. On college football Saturday, that TV was on pretty much all day. She didn't pay much attention to it then or now. She did watch a bit of skiing last night.
