T is 11 months, 1 week. He doesn't really have words yet. He has been babbling a lot since 7-8 months and says mamamam and dadada and bababa, but I don't think he knows what he is saying yet. He never looks at me and says "mama" he just says mamamama when he's whining. Same with "dadada" - he doesn't ever look at dad and say dadada. He just babbles "dadada" when happy. He *sometimes* says "da" when I show him a dog.

I have read about doctors suggesting interventions at age 1 and now I'm sort of worried about this! Is my son behind? I haven't really been worried about milestones so far and so far he's done everything on the early end of average (minus smiling, he didn't smile til 8 weeks....but then couldn't stop smiling!)
