I'm wondering if I can attempt to put it together by myself (with LO "helping") or if I should wait 'till DH is home and do it together...

I didn't put ours together but I think I may wait till naptime. That thing is HEAVY and I"d be afraid I would hurt LO if she was around while I was putting it together.

@mediagirl: thanks! I took your advice and waited until naptime - and boy am I glad I did, bc the pieces were heavy and bulky and there lots of screws. Furniture assembly isn't my forte but this was super easy to put together. Can't wait to put it to use when she wakes up !

@littlek: yeah, it was super heavy! My arms got quite a workout
other than it being heavy, though, it was really easy to put together - I did it by myself and I'm really sucky at furniture building -
@pinkcupcake: does she love it!?!? M just figured out how to get into it on her own at 19 months.

@mediagirl: yes! We baked choco chip cookies and she had a blast "helping!"
now I just need to find something safe and (relatively) non messy for her to "help" with - she got flour and sugar everywhere today and the kitchen was a wreck.
