I have a crazy theory that younger siblings are better looking than older siblings. Maybe it's because older siblings age more since they have to be the responsible ones. I'm an older sibling, and my brother was definitely waaaaaaay better looking growing up.
Is this true in your case too? Does that mean Olive will be better looking than Charlie?

Ha! I can think of cases either way -- and looks are a subjective thing.

I'm #3 of 3 girls. Everyone says I'm the prettiest.. Most of the younger/est kids I know are the better/best looking too.
But Christy turlington is the middle child of 3 girls and she's by far the prettiest of her sisters..

I'm the baby, so I LOVE this theory. My oldest brother was always considered really good-looking too, so we may disprove this theory. It's hard to compare whether a brother or sister is better looking, but it would be interesting what families with all girls or boys think.

I'm younger and I think the general consensus is that I'm the good-looking one. My brother is the book smart one. Haha.
Although, growing up I was the responsible one!

If we were to compare in HS, my younger sibling was the prettiest out of all of us. Now I would say it's a toss up, we all look very similar, however my older sister is working on getting in shape after her 2 kids, and is looking very good.

Hmm.. well I am the youngest of 4 and we've actually all had a lot of plastic surgery so it's hard to tell, lol!! Honestly though looking at our baby pictures, we were all pretty cute kids, but I definitely was not cuter than my sisters. Now in adulthood there are other factors like age difference, weight gain and beauty maintenance. My oldest sister while naturally a knockout can look pretty frumpy with 3 kids clinging to her after going too long getting her hair done and looking almost emaciated from not eating enough. But we can't hold a candle to her once she puts an ounce of effort into her appearance!

DH and I are both the eldest in our families so I'd like to think that this theory is completely off 
There are some families where I can see it working but others where it definitely doesn't. It's an interesting theory though!

I think it's pretty random as to which sibling looks better. I think the second child is usually taller though. It's the case with my younger sister and I and most of my cousins.

I say yes because I'm the youngest :). DH is definitely the best looking in his family, but he is the middle child. Although I could have a slated view of that one...
@BoogieBea: That's true in both our families! DH and my brother, both 2nd born and middle children, are way taller than everyone else!

I am the middle of three daughters. Since we all have different fathers our genes are quite different. However, I've been told on several occasions that I'm prettier "in the face" than my sisters.
I'm taking that to be since I'm the heaviest out of the three that my face alone beats them out lol
I've always been the heaviest one and that's ok.

Hmmm. I'm the youngest and I have always thought my brother was better looking than me. He just keeps himself in better shape is the main part of that. When we were growing up, I was better looking because he had the full headgear braces, thick glasses, etc. He was like the ugly duckling all grown up when he got eye surgery, the braces off and bulked up a bit!

My little brother is adopted so I can't really say for myself but I think it really depends! I know a lot of great looking oldest kids & youngest! DH is the oldest & I think him & his brother are very good looking but I prefer my DHs looks (of course!) especially because he is taller.

I have a similar theory but it only works for Asian sisters. I find that the younger/youngest sister is always prettier than the oldest. Of all the Asian sisters I know, this theory holds truth.

One of the middle sisters in my family is the best looking. Best sense of style too. My two middle sisters were prom and homecoming queens though so in our family middle takes it.
