@Beebug: All of M's tights are 6-12 month tights. She has been wearing them since 4 months. They're huge on her but she will get so much more use out of them this way!

I also bought her a jean jumper that is a 12 month. I plan on putting her into that as soon as she opens it (Christmas gift). She's 6 months now. I think buying bigger is better because then they get more use out of the item. Especially when they're in the 0-12mo range!

I try to buy lots dresses in stretchy fabrics for LO and think of it as an investment. As she grows, they just become cute tops! I bought an H&M dress when she was a few months old and she can still wear it at one year, because it stretches. It just looks like an empire waist shirt! I do throw a little sweater over it because the sleeves are short, although I guess they could pass for 3/4 length.

We always need larger-sized socks. I also like buying shirts that work as dresses or tunics when they're a little big, or dresses that work as shirts once they get too small. As far as toys go, DD *loves* her blocks, which are all recommended for age 3 and up. They're not a choking hazard, so I don't really understand why they are listed for such big children.
