@anonysquire: unfortunately living in NYC its nearly impossible to get things for free. but I get it down to as little as possible I think the lowest i got formula (Enfamil 6 pack) for was 1.99. double coupon a target coupon with a manufactures coupon and target having a sale on the formula.

Shipping! It makes me crabby. I make every effort humanly possible to avoid paying it.

Oh I hate paying shipping, especially to Hawaii! It's so expensive. I always make sure I spend $25 on Amazon so I can qualify for free shipping.

Yup, I am weirdly cheap about gift bags and tissue paper. It drives my husband insane but if we get a gift and the bag/tissue is nice and in perfect shape (I promise I don't keep anything wrinkled or ratty) I HAVE to keep it and add it to my gift wrapping stash. It just seems like such a waste to throw it away and then have to go spend $3 at Hallmark on a new bag.
