Whenever a recipe calls for garlic, I usually double or triple the garlic. There is no such thing as too much garlic for me! Luckily Charlie, Olive and Mr. Bee love garlic.
Are you as much of a garlic lover as I am?

Normally i would say no but one of my friends waaay over garlicked a Korean seaweed soup once.. No one could eat much of it, not even her, and our breaths were horrible later. I swear we were just exuding it from our pores. So yes. It is possible!

I always double the garlic, too. But there is such a thing as too much garlic--I once had a friend who ate so much garlic it smelled like it was coming out of his pores. It wasn't just his breath, it was his everything. Blech. I think he sixtupled the garlic 3x a day!

If you are asking me, no, certainly not. But DH is not a garlic fan so I always actually reduce the recommended amount of garlic in recipes because he won't be able to eat it otherwise
It is a sad low-garlic world I live in.

I love garlic but when I use too much I feel like I smell garlicky for days! So yes, I think there's such a thing.

no! I don't even look at the measurements - anything that remotely goes with garlic gets a heaping two or three spoonful of minced, or if I'm really ambitious, several cloves chopped. Fortunately we both love it

@scg00387: Same here. I'm sure there's a "too much" point out there somewhere, but I haven't hit it yet.

@futuremrsmck I agree! This is a good reminder though, that not everyone thinks that way.. we're going from an apartment to a house and will actually cook for other people now that they're going to have a place to sit! I don't want to overwhelm family and friends with our garlic love feast
