We have a local cleaning service that comes every 3 weeks, for the past year and a half or so. The last two sessions I haven't been happy with the way they've been cleaning. They quite obviously didn't touch our tiled entry way (which is like 3ft square and the probably the dirtiest part of the house), I didn't feel they sufficiently dusted the nursery, they didn't clean around bottles in the shower, didn't clean the outside of the toilets, and left part of the bathroom counters dirty.

I called and talked to the service and they offered to have a team and a "quality specialist" come back to fix the areas I wasn't happy with, but all they did was the entry way. After talking to them again they offered to do an extra service for free and to not charge the next time. We settled on them deep cleaning the fridge.

The next cleaning is coming up, and I thought I'd write up a list of all the things I expect to get done. I don't feel like any of it is outrageous, but DH thinks a list this long will rub them the wrong way. I'm honestly not sure I even care about that. I'm 33.5 weeks pregnant, I have debilitating pelvic pain, and I live in a 4 story house that is hard to get around, much less clean.

So is this list over the top?

First Floor:
* Sweep and mop tile
* Dust ledges
* Vacuum hallway (as far as you easily can, don't worry about moving stuff in the back)
* Vacuum Stairs
* Shake out and vacuum entry mats

Second Floor:
Bathroom:
* Clean toilet, including outside of tank
* Sweep and mop floor
* Wipe down mirror
* Wipe down and clean counters throughly
* Thoroughly clean sinks and faucets, including behind the faucet
* Empty trash

Kitchen:
* Deep clean fridge, including freezer
* Wipe down counters
* Wipe down stove top
* Dust countertop appliances
* Sweep and mop floors
* Wipe dog food mat
* Wipe down inside of microwave
* Living room
* Sweep and mop hardwood
* Vacuum carpeted areas
* Dust all shelves, entertainment center, lamps and window ledges
* Vacuum stairs

Third Floor:
Hallway:
* Vacuum
* Dust baseboards

Guest Bedroom:
* Dust tables, bed, and window ledges
* Vacuum
* Make up bed with provided sheets

Bathroom:
* Wipe down and clean counters throughly
* Thoroughly clean sinks and faucets, including behind the faucets and where the counter meets the wall
* Clean toilet, including top and outside of tank
* Clean mirror
* Clean shower thoroughly, including moving all bottles, and wipe down top of shower fiberglass surround
* Wipe down washer and dryer
* Empty trash

Nursery
* Dust all shelves, night stand, crib, window ledges, dresser. Please pick up items and dust under them if needed.
* Vacuum carpet
* Vacuum Stairs

Fourth Floor/Master Bedroom:
* Vacuum Carpet
* Dust all surfaces - night stands, ledge, window ledges, both dressers, treadmill
* Make up bed with provided sheets
* Empty trash
