My dog pees a lot. I think she went 7 times in our walk this morning, which consisted of about 3 blocks. My husband says she is just marking her territory, but most of the time she isn't sniffing around, she just walks and then suddenly stops and pees. She is a purebred 8 or 9 year old dog so my vet says she probably won't last more than a couple years. She isn't drinking a ton. This is my first dog so I don't know too much about stuff like this. We did move from a rural setting to a more suburban setting so could that be part of it? Vet visits are expensive so I don't want to take her in if it isn't really necessary or this is a normal thing older dogs do.
