So I REALLY want to get this adorable elephant rocker for Xander because I think it's sooooooooo cute and we have this whole elephant theme going on. BUT it's $149... how much would he actually use it? Is it worth spending that kind of money?

@Adira: That's a lot! In my experience with these rocker toys, they're cute but don't get used a whole lot.
I actually have an elephant rocker that didn't sell at our yard sale. I would seriously sell it for $10. It is like a mix between these two. No pressure, just thought I'd offer it!!

I still remember my rocking horse from when I was little - I loved it that much! Played with it ALL the time. I think we're going to get one for Sadie for Christmas. $150 does seem like a lot though. I looked on Amazon, and it looks like you can find some cheaper options on there.

@Adira: It is the same colors as the bottom one, but it has these shapes on the back of the head you can push to make it play music like the top one. Not all the shapes work! We used to punch it to get it to play the fourth song... ahh, the memories.

@Adira: that is cute! We have an elephant themed nursery too. But I wouldn't spend that much! Maybe I'll buy the amazon for DS for Christmas though!! PBK is redic. I was looking at Halloween costumes and they were like $80. For a child that will wear it once.... No thanks haha.

@Adira: dd has a pbk lamb rocker. She still rides it at 2.5 yo. She got it when she was 9 months old.
DS will use it too. I would get it without personlization if you really like it.

@Adira: dd flips the rocker forward on it's face and uses it as a step stool/ladder too, lol. It's great quality and I'm sure we'll use ours for years to come.

@Adira: As you know we have that rocker :). I bought it partially for decoration to go in his elephant themed nursery. We kinda went a little crazy on the PBK elephant stuff, lol. If he uses it for a while, great. We didn't personalize it, so the next baby can use it too.

@Bookish: I know this is an old thread, but we got LO a Rockabye for her birthday and it does seem really well made. The music is super annoying (you can hear samples on their site), but she loves it and it's not horribly loud. It's much smaller than I expected, but it fits her perfectly and is wide enough for her to sit and rock without support. I saw them on gilt today and was reminded that I meant to come back to you with the review!

No, too expensive in my opinion...plus dd has a horse one that for some reason she is terrified of and I remember other HB mamas saying the same. Idk if the elephant would be different, but I'd e hesitant to pay that much for it!
