Millie. I like it but does it sound to cutesy? I like it as a nickname but cant think of a "Formal" name to use that can be abbreviated to Millie. any suggestions?

Millie is cute! I've heard it as a nickname for Amelia and Millicent.

I don't think Millie is too cute. Full names: Mildred, Millicent, Milagros…there are probably others, those are just the ones off the top of my head.

I knew two Millies; one my age and one my grandmother's age. Their full first names were Melissa and Millicent.
eta: i do think it's too cute. I'm not a fan of nicknames being the full first name because it can make you seem less professional depending on your line of work. The hubs' has a friend named Kenny, and he goes by "K. MIDDLE NAME" (he's a lawyer).

For me, it's a little too cutesy for a first name. I can think of a few names for which Millie could be a nn:
Amelia
Emily
Camilla
Camille
Melissa
Matilda

Love this name since it was an aunt of mine (She was Mildred). I would use a longer version but if you like it I think it fits right in with Sadie, Elsie, Hattie etc.

I know someone who goes by Millie, first name is Camille.
Also, I don't think it's too cutesy as a first name. I like it, but I'm biased since my LO's name rhymes with it.

Love it! We gave my daughter a strong classic middle name in case she wanted to use it.

Millie is by far my all-time favorite girl's name. If we have a girl, she may or may not be Amelia, called Millie

DD is Amelia and Millie is one of the nicknames that I love.

My Grandma was Mildred, called Millie. But, I LOVE LOVE Camille with Millie as a nickname. If we have another girl someday it is on the top of my short list of names.

I *do* think it's too cute. Imagine if she is a 38yr old professional? I just don't think Millie will be recognized as a full name. People will always be like "what is that short for?"
I LOVE it as a nn though. I like the name Camila a LOT and think Millie as a nn for that is to die for

I loooove it as a nn! All the names I would suggest were already mentioned.

I like Millie a lot as a nickname! I immediately thought of it as short for Camille/Camilla, but Mildred, Amelia, etc (what other people suggested) makes sense too!
