I packed up the food from my old side-by-side freezer and brought it to the new house, which has a french door fridge with a bottom drawer freezer... and I couldn't even fit half of my food in there!! Good thing I have my chest freezer otherwise I would have been a sad panda!

Nope, that's why we have a separate freezer!

I think its plenty big but everything gets lost in the bottom!! I need to find a way to organize it!
I am surprised it didn't all fit - my mom has a side by side and her freezer part is tiny!!!!

Yes, but we don't freeze very much. All my milk is in the chest freezer though.

We have a side by side and we still have an extra freezer in our garage. and an old school style fridge in the basement!

It is big enough for us but we don't freeze a whole lot. We have always had a small freezer so I've just gotten used to it! It would be nice to have a bigger freezer though. A friend has an amazing gourmet/luxury kitchen and her freezer is the same size as a normal fridge!

Funny, I always thought a drawer freezer would hold more! I am extra annoyed with our side freezer lately - nothing fits in it! It's so awkward and narrow. I've started almost exclusively using our deep freezers

We live in a rental and have an ikea fridge with 3 bottom drawers. They are all so small, it drives me crazy!

I feel like my bottom drawer freezer holds more than my old side by side but it was easier to organize the side by side. Either way, deep freezer in the basement FTW!

We don't freeze much, so it works for us. I can't wait to open up the real estate that my stash takes up though.

For now its big enough, but once I start really making baby food, pumping for daycare and baking in big batches, we will need to use our downstairs freezer.

ours holds a lot! it is filled to the max at the moment though. i dislike side by sides and find the narrow freezer to be harder to keep track of things in than my bottom freezer.

I hated my side by side. I thought it was hard to fit anything into either side. We just got a french door bottom freezer and it's GREAT! We don't freeze a lot though.

Ours isn't big enough, when we move houses and have some more space we're going to buy a deep freezer.

Not really. We have a side-by-side in the garage and a deep freeze that are all packed too. If we didn't have a Costco membership, it would probably be fine.

Not at all - we have a second fridge/freezer in the basement. My other problem is things get lost in the bottom like other bees said. I need to figure out how to organize it.

Exactly why we just bought a side by side! None of the bottom drawer freezers looked big enough or worth the extra expense for a french door.

It's big enough, but it's not very convenient. I'm not a fan of our fridge.

We have two full old school style fridges and a 20 cubic foot chest freezer all packed full. I'd never fit enough in a drawer freezer
