They say that all ships are women... but when I got my first car though, I thought of it as a boy.
Is your car a boy or a girl? Or is it gender neutral?
Bonus points if you've named your car!

Hm, I've always heard that cars are girls too!
My old car was initially named bruiser, but then got a paint job and turned into the smurfmobile.
Our current vehicle doesn't really have a name, but if it did I would call her Lexi the Lexus, because she's probably a stripper.

My car is a girl, and while she doesn't have a name, my last car was the Granny-mobile. It was a 1990 Mercury Sable. Loved that car!

Mine's a boy! His name is Jack and even my parents/friends/associates/friends from HS all say "Okay, so are we taking Jack?" or "Does Jack need an oil change?"
which makes me regret that decision because I want to name my kid Jack now and DH is so against it. Damn you, car!
I've noticed in my circle that girls have boy-named cars and the guys have girl-named cars.

@Bao: that's okay, I named DH's truck "Jill".

My car is gender neutral. I've never had the desire to personify my car! I think it's cool that other people feel so attached to their cars, but try as I might, I just don't really care about mine!

My husband says his current car is a girl and named her Tyra. His old corolla was a boy and was just called corolla.
Personally I think he's silly for naming them and assigning them personas... but to each their own lol! My car is just a car. I don't really like my car or driving in general, it's just for getting me places.

My first car was a red Taurus. I called him Bullet. My second car was a fan Camry. I called her Cam Cam.
After those two I didn't name any more cars because they come with the job. My current car is a dark silver Fusion. The car has personality: stubborn and stoic.
