I should be cleaning. Instead, I'm sitting on the couch in my underwear, wearing a towel turban on my head and hellobeeing!
DH took LO out to the park so I could shower and tidy up. -.- I just wanna veg out.

It is half clean, thanks in no part to me. DH did a bunch of cleaning while I attempted to "help" last night, but I mostly just napped and then sat on the couch watching Dancing with the Stars/America's Got Talent.
We're tackling the second half tonight, and hopefully I'll be a little more useful.

@ChopSuey119: This image made me lawl irl!
The majority of the house is clean, I just need to empty the dishwasher and get caught up on the laundry . . . and maybe chase down a few more dust bunnies.

Nope! I'm doing laundry and the dishes are done but that's about it. My mum is going to come help do a deep clean next week in preparation for the bambino. I am definitely not the cleaner in this house I just do dishes and laundry (plus the tub).
Edit- It isn't nasty dirty or anything but man my pets shed a lot.

It's clean, but it's not necessarily tidy right now.
@chopsuey119 - nice visual. Haha.

Woohoo, sexy mama!
Yes, my house is always clean. I am neurotic like that.

Yes, thanks to my lovely housecleaners. Best $150/month I ever spent in my life.

@mrs. wagon: Ugh I so wish we had a cleaning person. And particularly one that just lives with us and is always cleaning.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@chopsuey119: hahahaha totally made me lol!!
At the moment yes! For the most part anyway. We had company on Saturday so we cleaned the house. Still mostly clean from then

@highwire: Hehe. I'm ok with dishes, baby laundry and general tidying up, but everything else I hate. I'm so grateful that Wagon Sr. agreed to having housecleaners while I'm pregnant. Just a couple more months of it... then we'll stop the service, and my mom will be around, so she'll help with cleaning for sure. The bonus there? She does laundry like a madwoman, too! woohoo!

@mrs. wagon: I think I will need to do this....I have too much "my house is a mess" guilt!

@mrs. wagon: I need to get the cleaning service to come back! The bathrooms are so nasty again.
I was so determined to maintain the clean after they came last time...
@Andrea: Send some of that neurotic my way!!

@chopsuey119: ok, i will put some crazy into the post!!!!
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
@mrs. wagon: Yeah tidying/maintaining is fine with me. I just HATE scrubbing a dirty toilet or shower or oven or fridge. And I should just keep up with it, but I hate it so much. So I just wait. And it gets grosser and grosser until I have to spend an hour in there scrubbing. When will I learn?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
Somewhat but never as clean as I want it to be and that's pre-baby, too. I kinda wish I had a kid to at least blame it on.
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
@highwire: that's exactly what I do. In fact, it got so bad that the housecleaners actually kind of complained. Haha. We have bad circulation in our tiny master bathroom, so we get mold problems in there... first it was the ceiling, then it was in the toilet. I just did NOT touch it and then the housecleaners had to check in with me that it was ok to use strong chemicals in there. I gave them the ok, then they had to report to me that the cleaners left white "stains" so they wouldn't be liable for damage. Haha. I'm so disgusting and I fear the day the cleaners and my mom are gone and I have to start cleaning again!!!
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@mrs. wagon: haha - sounds like you need to paint your whole house white, buy all white stuff and then buy the cleaners they use! Man, I need that stuff for my shower stall. It is by far the grossest place in my house.
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
@mrs. wagon: Ha oh man. This sounds like exactly what would happen at my house.

It's 70% clean. My husband left his workout gear in the living room last night and I refuse to pick it up because I've asked him many times to put it away when he is done. I need to dust as well, but I usually only do that before company comes.
pear / 1861 posts
Yep, I cleaned it top to bottom for a party for my buisness, so it's still clean. Easier to clean now with a good clean base.LOL

it was.... when i had a housekeeper coming once a week! lol, now, not so much. it's a very touchy subject for me, i wish it was clean! but we have too much stuff in too little space
persimmon / 1453 posts
Yes it is. I gave it a scrub before I went to the beach with my grandmother. I wanted my poor hubby to at least have a comfortable house to be a bachelor in, albeit a house without a nearby beach!

fairly? But I need to do laundry, and it's best if you don't look in the basement..

it's a disaster area. much worse than normal though right now.
pomegranate / 3983 posts
Not really. I should be cleaning too right now, but LO is napping and the heat is exhausting so I'm just sitting on the couch.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
It's tidy, as in things are in their place. And the kitchen and downstairs bathroom are clean because I cleaned them today. But the rest of the house needs to be vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned.
persimmon / 1087 posts
Our house was much cleaner before I couldn't keep up with the cleaning in late pregnancy. Now my husband and I are both in survival mode with a newborn, so our house is clean but very cluttered (and it is driving me insane).
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
No. It's not messy, but it hasn't been deep cleaned. Cleaning lady comes Thursday.
apricot / 256 posts
Right now it's not clean but not messy or dirty. There's just a few things that need to be picked up or put back into place. I will be home all day tomorrow and plan to do a day of cleaning. I'm actually excited about it.
grapefruit / 4056 posts
Usually it is, but with Sawyer cluster feeding during the day, and my c-section restrictions, combined with my DH working an extra 20 hour already this week it has all fallen apart. I am hoping later this week Sawyer will sleep better and I can at least vacuum.
bananas / 9227 posts
Nope. I've got Amazon boxes everywhere, laundry that needs to be folded, empty cups and glasses everywhere. And right now, I don't even care =)
pineapple / 12526 posts
Eh... mostly. It's not dirty, but it could definitely do with a good tidying up and running the vacuum. Our bedroom is definitely the worst.
