LO 1 is average and LO 2 is delayed.

@Mrs. Bee: I found the trampoline helped LO figure out jumping!

LO is average. Her running still cracks me up, but she's good at climbing, hanging and jumping.

Physically, average I think--he's great at climbing and ok and jumping, but can still be clumsy while running.

@Anagram: Same.

I'd say average. I would have said advanced in his first year, but I think it's evened out at this point. He is a better climber than most kids his age, though.

She's physically advanced. Verbally I think she is average.

I think E is advanced in her physical capabilities. Now if I could get the girl to talk...heh.

She is pretty advanced. She has great coordination and balance, and climbs like a monkey.

I think she’s average. She walked later on the scale of average at 16 months, but that isn’t a true “delay”.

LO is so freaking cautious when physical behavior that it’s hard to tell what she physically can do and can’t do vs. what she just *won’t* do. Like, at 27 months, she won’t walk up a flight of stairs by herself (has to hold hands, will only attempt it alone by holding onto a handrail if its like 5 steps or less, will NOT attempt it by herself with holding onto a handrail if more than 5 steps), and she doesn’t run for real (she will walk fast and happily announce “I’m running! I’m running!) but I don’t think there is any physical reason she isn’t doing those things. She just doesn’t want to. So, I don’t think that’s a delay either, just stubbornness.

Ellie was delayed in everything but some fine motor. Ironically, she now does OT once/week for fine motor related to writing. She was also very cautious and perfectionistic (still is) so some of the "delays" were compounded by the fact that she didn't want to do any of it at all until she was feeling pretty confident.

Lorelei has been very advanced in everything. Especially verbal, but she is also quite advanced for fine and gross motor as well.

@coopsmama: your LO sounds like my J! I didn't get much time where he wasn't mobile, haha - he was even busting out of swaddles in the hospital.
J just started really talking at 2.5. He had lots of words but wouldn't really put them together, now (2.9) he sings songs, speaks sentences, etc.

J has always been on the later side of average. He army-crawled at 7 months, crawled at 11 months, walked at 14 months. He's now starting to run and jump at 18 months. He's always been a climber, too, but he's generally pretty cautious. He is a big baby about falls, bumps, and bruises though - like, sobbing if he bumps his head on the arm roll of our couch. Very dramatic!

My son became a fluent crawler last week at 6.5 months old, and he can also pull himself to standing in his crib. So, I think he's a little early. It sucks because now we have to chase him around! I was hoping he would stay immobile for a bit longer for the convenience!

Perfectly average! As soon as I start to worry about why he can't XYZ he does it the next day. I'd say he's average/a tad behind in language though.

My 3 year old was on the very slowest end of normal for her physical milestones, but now she's caught up quite well. She was just cautious, I think, about doing things for the first time.

I think both were average. DD is just more on the cautious side, but she was able to do most milestones on track. DS army crawled on the early side, but then didn't sit up until later... and both kids walked at 13.5 months! So they varied within a range of normal.

LO has always developed earlier than her classmates. She potty trained early and talks really well. She also walked and crawled early. However, she is CLUMSY. She constantly falls and walks into walls. Her balance is definitely not as advanced as other children.
