Will you be making/buying a gift for your LO to give their grandparents?
If yes, what is it? I need some ideas!

We are going to make a photobook for both sets of grandparents, but that's more from me. We will also be going to one of those "paint your own pottery" places to make handprint plates.

Yes, a handprint ornament, and probably a framed picture from our DIY holiday photos.

@cmomma17: what are you doing for a handprint ornament? Ours failed.
The ornament was going to be from DS. We got famy photos done last week and will be giving those to the grandparents. They will be from all of us.

@ALV91711: I DIY'd salt dough ornaments last weekend. My LO is 7 months now and has giant hands so we will not be hanging them from a tree!
They turned out okay. I'm going to paint them with mod podge and sprinkle on a little glitter, then add red ribbon and write his name and the year on the back

@cmomma17: Those turned out good. I tried to make salt dough and it was a big fail. For some reason it was really tough. Maybe I'll try again this week.

Maybe too much flour? I had the opposite problem as mine was too wet and sticky at first. Try again!

@MamaBehr: We did the photobook last year. I'm not sure I have taken enough nice photos to make it worthwhile again! I like the pottery idea.
@cmomma17: Those turned out great! I wanted to do it last year but just never did. I may have to try it out
