I was telling Dh yesterday that we have to stop at Target on Saturday to get her gear before the home opener. But I guess grandma and grandpa took her yesterday to Marshalls and took care of it! They want to surprise us on Sunday so I'm curious to see what they got her!
FYI my Target has 3pk one siestas and non player team jerseys $22. All NFL licensed gear! They're also online.

Target is where M's jersey came from! A friend sent her a 3 pack of onesies (like the one she wore yesterday) when she was born. They finally fit, but I'm glad she prepared for her second football season.

@hellobeeboston: oh yes! We always go big for games! We typically do a theme of either our team or the opposing team. This week we're going local for the home opener. We're making a beef on weck which is like roast beef on weck (kimmelweck roll).
We'll probably also have a veggie platter and I'm also going to make fried cauliflower breaded with panko. And of course beer!
We're actually playing you guys on Sunday so thought about making New England Clam Chowder but FIL doesn't like any kind of seafood.
I think this deserves a separate thread!

@hellobeeboston: as an aside we're visiting our friends who just moved there next month. My crazy DH, I know, is going to pack Bills, Sabres AND Yankees gear. I just know he will. My girlfriend and I already decided us and baby are sitting at separate tables. haha

DS has a jersey we picked up on clearance last year at the end of the season. And I just got a 3 pack of onesies from target for DD the other day and she has some football baby legs.

Yes ma'am! We had our season opener last Saturday (we are college football fans) and LO is decked out Friday - Sunday in Nebraska Husker gear! We wear red all weekend long for game days! It really is a holiday in our state GO BIG RED!!!

@locavore_mama: ha - nice... Last year we were in NY and went to a CEltics/Knicks game and dh wore all green - he got a little sh*t, but not bad..... You may hear some things if he wears Yankee gear! Boooo Yankees.

We still have a jersey in LO's closet for when he gets a bit bigger. It's for a 'family' team, as in the team DH's grandparents, dad, etc love even though it's in a completely different state from ours!
And my ILs have a lot of college football stuff from FILs alma mater but I happen to really dislike FILs alma mater. In fact, I'm for their rival team. DH married one of the enemy!

My baby has a team onesie that daddy bought for her online. He bought me a new game day shirt, too! Sadly, we don't root for the local teams, so they don't carry our team's stuff in stores here.

Our LO isn't even here yet but he's got a huge stack of Panthers clothes already. He's got a jersey material onesie that matches DH's jersey, a jersey for next season, two "creeper" sets with bibs/booties, a sleep n play, and some paci's.. It's a little ridiculous lol! I have to admit, the little jersey is adorable though At least DH will have someone to watch the games with now, right?
