He is the first grandkid for both my parents and ILs. And DH is an only child, while I only have a younger bro- meaning he is also the first and only nephew too.
Plus his bday is only a month before christmas! :O i can only imagine the gifts in the future!

Not in the sense that we cater to her emotions. She's very strong willed so we need to have tight boundaries with her.
Now, in terms of material possession, she might be. Slightly. I'm a clothes/shoes gal and she probably has too many expensive clothing items for a toddler. I justify it since we are having another girl!

Nope, she is 1 of 5 grandchildren on my side and 1 of 3 on DH's side. I'm not a material person and am a cheap ass so I highly doubt she will be spoiled in material possessions.

Yep, beyond spoiled. She's the first (and only) grandchild on both sides. Everyone dotes on her and she's always the center of attention

I don't think so. She doesn't have a ton of toys or anything but she will after Christmas since I have a huge family and the IL's will probably go over board. They always buy our nephews way to much stuff.
She might be spoiled with clothes. I buy her WAY too much.

DD1 is the first grandchild on both sides and is only spoiled rotten by my MIL. My MIL gives DD1 anything and everything to the point where DD1 becomes bratty and whiney for a day or so after spending a few hours with MIL. It's also gotten to the point where even DH is saying that we need to spend less time with MIL! LOL!

Um, I love shopping so yes she has more clothes/shoes than I do, but I'm also a baragin shopper, nothing is super expensive.
I would say she's privillaged and has everything she could ever want/need, but she will never be ungrateful!

My oldest was the only grandchild and nephew on both sides for 11 years! He was {insert word for beyond spoiled} by everyone, but despite it is kind and generous.
DH and I thought his reign woud come to a screeching halt when we had #2, but now they just rule together.

Yes. He is the first grandchild for my MIL and my parents can't help themselves. And he's our only LO so he gets a lot of attention but we are trying to help him be more independent.

He is only three months old but I know he will be beyond spoiled. First grandchild on my in-laws side and they live mins away. MIL is retiring so she can take care of lo. My parents are far away but still go crazy over G but have my nephew down the street from them. He was the first on my side and we all spoil the crap out of him. Me and Hubs especially. He gets whatever he wants when we are visiting and during birthdays and Christmas.

DD is totally spoiled. She's the first grandchild and total daddy's girl. I try to keep him in check but he wants to get her everything he sees. Hopefully yjings change when #2 arrives next year.

Yes, very spoiled! He is the first grandchild on DH's side. My parents spoil B even though he is not the first grandchild. And I spend WAAAAY too much money on him.
