UGH i wish I was revealing on here what we're having! (Waiting unti lwe can tell family in person.) But yes LO's middle name is a family name. Middle names we'll be using are both mine and DH's middle names, I love where both of us got ours (mine is family, his is due to meaning) and would love passing them on. We also may use Joy for a future girl, because MIL's maiden name is Joyce, and LO's name will come from DH's side of the family, so we want to be "fair" if we have enough kids to do so

LOs middle name is my maiden name. I don't have any brothers, so it is important to me to try and keep the name going.

DS's middle name is one we liked. While in utero, he always responded when I played Elliott Smith - so his middle name is Elliott.

DD's middle names came from both our mums. My mum's name is Nigerian and his is Taiwanese, so you can imagine what her passport looks like:)

DS has a family name for his mn, and we were going to give LO a family mn, but the one we liked sounded awful with our last name, so her mn is just one we liked.

Yep! His middle name is DH's first name. DD will also have a family middle, after my grandma.

Her MN is Marjorie, after my GM who passed away while I was pregnant. Before that, we were considering Elizabeth, which is my MN as well as my mom and MIL's MN.
