Charlie is kind of a classic name, but it has been rising in popularity in recent years, and it's also a very popular name in our hipster neighborhood.
Olive has definitely been on the rise as well since Drew Barrymore named her daughter Olive. And I follow two people on instagram that have daughters named Olive! Haven't met a real life Olive yet though.

I know a few kids with the same nickname as LO 1. I know one kid with the same name/diff spelling as LO 2.

I have a family member named Olive- born in 1900! She was the only one I knew of until your Olive and DB's. I love it!
Anyhow, lo's name is popular in Scandinavian countries but I don't foresee it getting big here... but it could happen!

I think it's stayed around the same, maybe even gone down a little in the rankings. The only kids I know with her name are from HB. Oh, and one of her daycare teachers has the same name!

Not yet but I think it will increase in popularity- it's part of the great grandmothers names becoming new again trend (it was number one in the late 1800s). I don't see it wing top ten anytime soon though
I actually have two former coworkers with babies with the same name (older, so I knew this when I named her) and one currently pregnant friend who is considering it- and I flat out told her not to worry that we "claimed" te name or anything.

Too soon to tell, but it was in the 400s on the SSA list last year. Yesterday, I saw Nameberry's "most searched names so far in 2014" list and it was 89. Sooo...maybe? There are obviously a subset of people looking it up, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're choosing it as the name. I'll definitely be looking it up on the SSA list next year!

Yes! It's gradually increasing in popularity in the past 5 years and it's even in the top 30 according to the Nameberry list - which was a huge shock!! I think it just cracked the top 200 on the SSA list.
Prior to having my son, I had only encountered one other boy with his name and I've worked with hundreds of students. We met another little boy with his name last week and a couple of other boys with a variation of his name.

I think it's dropped in the SS rankings in recent years. I had never met a little boy with C's name before he was born but have met a few since. I have never met a little girl with M's name but there are a few (not super popular) celebrities who named their daughters the same name.

LOs name was top 50 to begin with, but I've never met another LO with her actual name. Sophia? I've met millions, but her name is SophiE... 
With our son, due in October, his name will never even be top anything. He'll be a 4th and I have a friend with this name, so of course he won't be the only one, but it's definitely different

I think it's a common, classic name that's not super popular but has always been around. We know one real friend (like DS' name and chose it for their third).

I don't think our DS's name will ever be really popular - it's pretty unique. But oddly enough, I did meet another family at our church that had a DS with the same name, born the same year. So you never know... We chose his name because it was unique, but not too far out there that people wouldn't know how to say it.

I had a dreadful experience a few weeks ago....
We called our daughter Elliott and have received a lot of funny looks and outright rude comments since she arrived. Despite Elliott from Scrubs, it's basically unheard of here to name a girl Elliott. Anyway, a few weeks back, one of DH's exes commented on a mutual friend's FB post... talking about her 18 month old daughter called, you guessed it, Eliot. AGH! I basically can't stand this woman, as well so the shock was all the more intense!!

It's getting higher in the rankings, don't know of any personally but a friend of a friend is currently pregnant and will be using the same name (don't know her though) the name is Eleanor.

Apparently! It isn't in the SSA top 1000 but the Nameberry search completely contradicts that! I knew it was popular overseas, though.

No but variants of LO's name are. Her name starts with Z and several other Z names are growing in popularity. Names that rhyme with hers have also shot up in popularity. It seems like only a matter of time until LO's name rises in popularity (unless I picked a bad one).
