That was me her first few months. My mother went crazy with the thrifting and mostly bought stuff I hated. Eventually I asked her nicely to please stop, and starting buying stuff I like. I felt a little silly, but style matters to me. I hated looking at clothing I didn't like on her when there were alternatives.

No, all brand new because no one offered any hand me downs and I had fun buying stuff on sale!

Ds's is! We got a ton of hand-me-downs for him, so we've hardly bought him anything!

Nope, mostly new... we only got a handful of hand-me-downs. Wish we had more people w/a girl just a little older than her

LO's clothes are mostly bought from our local baby consignment shop but it's all stuff I like, 90% Carters which is my favorite So of course, it's all stuff I love! She does have some new stuff but that's mostly from gifts.

For the first 10 months, yes. Now he has caught up with his cousins who are a year older, so we are now "whatever is on sale" or "bought second hand" style.
I really have never cared one bit about style, for me it is all about convenience!

They're 90% either gifted or hand-me-down. Mostly I like his clothes but I can deal with not loving them because I didn't have to buy clothes.

For the first 3 months I had gifts or things that I purchased. However, I quickly realized how fast and how expensive all these clothes were that I was buying. I always bought my nieces and nephews tons of clothes for holidays and birthdays so I asked my sister for them back. So my son is wearing all hand-me-down, but they are all my style since I originally bought them!! I also just purchased and entire 12mo and 18mo wardrobe from a friend in my Mom's group for $30.

Yes. I try not to complain because they're free. But I do look forward to being able to pick out her clothes.

Yep! I've only bought 1 dress, 2 tops and 1 hat since Hadley was born Her cousin is 5 months older, so I think this trend will continue for quite some time (yay wallet!).
Luckily, my sister has excellent taste, so she is always at the height of fashion

My oldest daughter's was until she caught up in size to her older cousin. Now I buy her things I like. My youngest daughter's style will probably always be hand-me-down!

Yes and no. I got a lot of hand-me-downs but I only kept the stuff I liked and then passed the rest on. I supplement her wardrobe with used stuff (ebay mostly) and new pieces.
