I read that you learn optimism/pessimism from your mom. In my case it's true -- we're both pessimists!
Is your mom an optimist or pessimist? What about you?

My mom is a total pessimist, haha. I'm much more of an optimist than she is, but I still definitely have my pessimistic moments.

I'd say a pessimist! My dad is an optimist so I try make a conscious effort to be more like him. He's always saying, "if it weren't for the bad days, great days wouldn't seem that great".

Wow, a total pessimist! She never, ever looks on the bright side. I think I'm quite a lot like her in that sense, too - I wish I wasn't.
