Ours isn't because it starts getting too cold for fleas to survive in September up till about May. So she's only on flea meds between May and September!

We keep our pup on them until November and then back on it in spring.
We once stopped giving our last dog flea meds in October snd he got fleas!! My vet says that sometimes when it just starts getting cold the fleas start coming inside.

Technically, yes. But sometimes we get lax during the winter and the month between meds gets stretched out a little.
Edited to add: we live in Illinois and it gets cold enough during the winter, but the idea of fleas/ticks freaks me right out so we do it year round.

Yes but sometimes we stretch it to 45 days between pills in the winter.

Yes, because her flea meds are also for ticks, which I have found as early as Feb. here in VA.
