@mrsaudi: Same! My hubby and I have been best friends since we started dating. Most of my good girlfriends moved away. I made a couple of new ones when I went back to school, but I don't see them very often.

For sure!!! He knows me better than anyone, I tell him EVERYTHING, we do everything together, I am so silly and absurd around him - we are totally authentic with each other. I totally love him more than anyone.
No girl friend even comes close.

I DO have a girlfriend that I tell ALMOST as much as I tell him, but I only see her two times a month or so. I would say she is my closest girlfriend, but I am not as close to her as my DH, obviously!

Without a doubt. He's the one person I tell absolutely everything to. He's seen me at my best and absolute worst. He's the one person that will always be there for me, no matter what.

No, he isn't (gasp!!!!). He's pretty darn close, though.
My best friend and I have been inseparable since we were 5. I love her to death and back again. She knows me better than anyone.
For a long time, I couldn't imagine anyone - even a husband - ever being as close to me as she is - until i met DH. He's the only other person I've ever been able to be myself around and he knows me in ways she doesn't (of course) but when it comes to the crunch...... it's pretty close.... but she's my best friend.

I have someone I call a best friend because she's been my closest friend for 30 years. So she's more like a sister. But I did say "yes" in the poll because I am closer to my DH

Hes one of my best friends. My best friend was my MOH. Ive known her for 12 years. I would do anything for her and she for me.

My absolute best friend is my sister, my DH is also my best friend. I count myself lucky! I've had an exceptional relationship with my sister my entire life...people regularly say we're two peas in a pod and strangers always ask us if we're twins.

I was best friends with DH for years before we started dating. On the first night we were together he had his arms around me and got really emotional saying he really wanted to marry his best friend. It was so sweet :-).
I have other very close friends, one even who we call each other "best friends", but there's no one I'm truly as close to as DH. I feel really lucky :-).

He is! I've had a lot of friends come and go. DH has been there for me when most of those "friends" weren't. I tell him everything and we are always ourselves around each other.
