i didn't really have a type. but i told myself i'd never date a frat boy (DH was one) LOL. aside from that he is totally MY type. tall, dark hair, muscular, considerate, sentimental, and a spiritual strength to my own faith

haha nope! No one ever though I would marry a white guy. I'm a 5'5 relatively quiet Asian who married a 6'3 German. I hated sports and he LOVES sports.

Physically, NO! Tall, blond, and broad-shouldered, that's my type and Farmer Man is short, wiry, dark-haired, and weighs less than me. But he's my type on every other level, so it works.

Umm...originally, no. DH has arms full of tattoos and honestly I never even took a second look at guys with tattoos. The funny thing is, he is the sweetest guy! I always assumed guys with tattoos were the "BA" type...this is not true.

Physically yes, personality no. DH is unlike anyone I have dated in the past, he's just so... nice! I had a bit of a thing for guys who were always a bit aloof and unobtainable and didn't treat me great.

Absolutely not. Before DH, I always dated very tall (6'3+...I'm barely 5'1), rugged, "bad boys". I had a thing for tattoos, scruff, and a cocky attitude.
DH, on the other hand, is on the shorter side (5'8) plays rugby and soccer, and is very athletic. He is pretty clean cut and doesn't have a single tattoo. He's compassionate and kind, and treats me wonderfully. Couldn't be happier with my choice, but it even surprised me, at first!
