It is nap time in my house and my almost three year old is JUMPING on the bed.... ugh. This is not resting.... What do you do when your LO doesn't sleep during nap time? Do you go up there and try to get them to sleep? And, she is not ready to cut the nap out, believe me...

@MamaBehr: I cry when she doesn't nap LOL. I actually take her out of her room, do some sort of activity to wear her out a little more, and then do try the nap routine again.

DD would NOT go down on her afternoon nap today. I put her in her jumparoo for a while to attempt to let her get out some extra energy. Then I tried to rock her down again. Didn't work... she ended up squirming and yelling, and trying everything to get out of my arms. I finally laid down with her on the couch. She cried a bit but then fell asleep with me, and we both took a nice nap together on the couch

@BabyBoecksMom: Napping together is always my fallback. I was pretty tired too, so it worked great. (Once she fell asleep, that is.)

@skibobrown: I had a lovely nap with my LO yesterday, I consider it to be one of life's pleasures!
I always try to put LO down for her naps awake but if she's really fighting it I will feed her to sleep and nap with her
