One of the big differences between the current generation and previous generations is that the cost of college is just insane now.
A lot of it has to do with the limited supply of college, and the HUGE increase in demand for it. The demographics of Gen Y have increased the number of students applying for college, plus college is becoming increasingly mandatory when applying for good jobs.
Anyway lots of people point out the (horrible) problems with the spiraling cost of college... but I haven't seen many people propose solutions. I'm not really sure what can be done... it just feels like the system is broken/sick.
What do you guys think should be done about the growing cost of college? Any ideas on how to fix this?
