Since I moved here (August 2011), my cable provider has accidentally been giving me the upgraded channel package. I just wanted the most basic package, which came with ~20 channels or so. But they kept giving me ~70 channels and didn't raise the price, so I went with it. Yesterday, I got a letter that was basically a big "whoops, we've been giving you something you aren't paying for" and I'm being cut off. They must have done an audit recently. At least they didn't send a bill along with the whoops letter
