In honor of it being a brand new month I want to know what your favorite month is and why.

Spoiler alert: I love October. It is just so beautiful here in Oregon. Our 9 year wedding anniversary is next week. I feel like Halloween is the kick off to the holidays so it starts feeling festive when I see fall decorations. I have mums, a barrel of apples from our trees and a pumpkin on my front porch as of last week.

I love all of the Summer months because of the weather...but I think my favourite has to be March because the start of Spring feels amazing after the doom and gloom of January & February!

I love October for all the reasons @youboots: listed (including the anniversary!). It just to me is ideal - especially in the South. Football, hard cider, boot weather, leaves changing!

I love October. It's my birthday month, H's birthday month, and I like seeing the leaves change.

@LBee: Ah BOOTS I forgot boots. As you can tell from my handle, boots are my jam. And hard anything, and especially football. We went on a road trip from Nashville (caught a Titans vs Texans game) to NOLA to Austin- we drove 1700 miles total in 2 weeks in late October/early Nov for our 5th anniversary and it was my favorite vacation ever. It is so beautiful there.

May! It starts camping season.

October is so popular! It's my favourite too - feels like the proper start of autumn, love all the leaves, crisp weather, fireworks season etc. also my birthday month!

October - the heat is finally breaking and there are so many fun things to do.

October! The weather is perfect, the leaves are beautiful, it's football season, it's pumpkin season, and our wedding anniversary is on the 23rd.

I loved October in Virginia! It's too cold here in NYC though.,, so I changed my favorite month to September.

@mrbee: So true! Before the heat we have had the last few years I found myself really enjoying September. I guess it depends on the location and weather of the current year.
I'm surprised how many other October lovers are on here.

October is my favorite for many reasons...the weather, the leaves, beginning of boot season, our anniversary and a friend and I love bashing about Williamsburg in the Fall and October is perfect for some cider and meandering around.

May! It's my birthday and I also LOVE when the weather first warms up.

July! It's the most patriotic month for me and I just love seeing all the flags, the purposeful red, white, and blue flowers and or course the fireworks. I also like July because it signals that half the year is over. Who can resist Summertime fare? Grilled dogs, cold potato salad, fresh sliced fruit. Love!
ETA: Autumn is my favorite season though.

Sept - Dec. Actually
Fall and the holiday season are my fav times of the year - work slows down, its boot season, red wine and the smell of leaves is awesome.

October (followed closely by Sept): state fair, football, my birthday, our dating anniversary, Halloween, sweater weather, etc!

I love July - and December
Fall in New England sounds awesome and looks picture-perfect on the internet but in reality, you wear a lot of layers and it's either boiling hot or freezing cold and sometimes both in the same day. When it's a steady 60-70 degrees out, it's usually because it's gloomy and/or raining. So when you get that perfect crisp sunny day, you better go outside and pick apples and post a thousand pictures online because it's RARE, lol.
And then the snow comes for 5 months and you wish you had that gloomy Fall day instead. -
I like June and October.

November. I love the fall colors. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

I voted July but maybe June actually. The days are long and hello, beach! I like that the kids are still in school for most of June so it's not as crazy when doing fun stuff but the weather is generally better in July.

@youboots: Agree 100%! October is my favorite month, also the month we got married, the kickoff to the holiday season, the most fun in terms of clothes, food, activities, and the month with the nicest weather!!

I'm in the seattle area and I love the changing leaves, the rain, and the crisp air. I love hot coffee and big scarves. And, my birthday is in october!
Close second is april. I love the blooming cherry blossoms and it's our anniversary month.

July! BBQs, days at the beach, camping, cookouts, DD's birthday, and DH's birthday. Celebrating all around!

Wedding anniversary is this month and the weather is perfect and beautiful. -

@youboots: October too! Fall starts, the weather isn't too cold but it hasn't gotten super rainy yet, the trees are beautiful, I love all the root veggies that are in season, the morning light, the start of the holidays...

October is my birthday month and I love fall colors.

December. But really lets lump the last week of Nov in there. I love the holidays. And my LO's bday is the last week of Nov and I'm due with #2 the first week of Decemeber so it's a very festive time for our family!!!
