I just had my first IUI + clomid + trigger on May 15th. My diagnosis is unexplained and I'm so anxious does anyone have advice or success ?

I don't, but when did they do the IUI as compared to trigger shot? I'm curious as I'm doing the same protocol next month and am nervous that they will miss my ovulation. I seem to ovulate really quickly after a positive OPK.
Good luck!!

I don't, but I just wanted to wish you luck!
@northstar, My impression is that the trigger shot ensures they DON'T miss your ovulation. Using a shot makes it a more "controlled" process than just relying on OPKs.

@NorthStar: I went for an ultrasound on the 13th day of my cycle and then triggered that night around 9 pm then had the iui at 9 am of the 15th. The amazing thing is you do not use opks because the trigger takes care of the timing.

@Crystal: I am supposed to test 14 post iui which is May 29th but I may test on May 28th just because I'm anxious!

@BrianaK: I didnt do meds, but I got pregnant after only 2 rounds of IUI! It really does work for some people and then you're done. No need to move on to other methods. GOOD LUCK!

@wrkbrk: so great to hear! Did you have a diagnosis? I'm so hopeful that it will work!

@BrianaK: No. I had low AMH and borderline DOR but she never officially called it anything else. She was ready to move to clomid if I needed it but I didnt happen to. Good luck!!

@BrianaK: I had an unknown cause diagnoses and did Clomid with an IUI. I got pregnant on the second round, but miscarried. I got pregnant again on the second round of Clomid but with TI and my LO is 18 months now. Fingers crossed for you!

Just wanted to say good luck! Only advice is to not test too early because your trigger shot could still be in your system and cause a false positive. But the day before your blood test should be safe!

That sounds a lot like us. It worked the first time! Fx you are also that lucky!

Good luck! I got pregnant after my first IUI! I was on letrozole, though, not Clomid.

Good luck!! I got pregnant after my first IUI with Clomid + trigger shot + Progesterone suppositories after during 2WW.
We had multiple issues - male factor infertility (DH's counts were all around bad), and my issues. I was getting + OPKs but not until WAY late in my cycle (like cd26) and then getting my period a week later. Blood tests showed my progesterone was really low (so even if I was getting a fertilized egg, it wasn't implanting).
I could not BELIEVE the IUI worked on the first attempt! Hope you are as lucky as us.

I've gotten pregnant twice with IUI and injectibles. Unexplained diagnosis. My first baby is now 18 months old and my second is due in July! Best of luck to you

Our first IUI plus injections (Gonal F and Ovidrel trigger) resulted in my almost-two-year-old twins! Good luck!

@MrsADS: I am totally thinking there is no way the first one will work, but there are so many people that it's worked for so my hopes are up!
