@yellowbeach: Another negative today, 5dp5dt. I think I was right, and this was a bust. Such a shame, as everyone was so excited about this embryo. I have also lost 44kg since Claire's cycle, so I'm physically the healthiest I've ever been... but apparently that hasn't helped. Seriously, gutted.
I am SO hopeful for you! Honestly, you guys with PGD are so amazing. We struggle producing good embryos as it is, and to have them fail the genetic screening would probably break me. Sounds silly, but I like having that little bit of hope. It sounds like you have a great specialist.
@LAZB: Eeeeek so exciting!

Whoops! There it is.
Also, I'm becoming THAT person... who is googling 'chances of negative HPT at 10dpo still being positive'.
Yeah, reached a new low point this morning!!

Well shit. I just caved again this afternoon and used a FR this time. Um... is that a freaking squinter?
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@jaguar: I definitely see it! But I will say that @yellowbeach and I have had many false positives on frers over the last few months. I hope yours is for real though!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@LAZB: eeeek is this a new thing with FR? will have to see what it does.. I hope it isn't a fluke!!
nectarine / 2648 posts
@jaguar: yeah don’t get me started on FRER. Do you have any OSOMs by chance?
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@yellowbeach: We don't have them here, I don't think. (I'm in Sydney) - Clearblue, First Response or just the little internet cheapy strip ones.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@jaguar: I’ve never seen them in stores in the US. I order them on Amazon. Ugh this limbo sucks.
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@yellowbeach: I had a look on ebay but can't see any of that brand except from the USA (which would take FOREVER to get here)
What issues did you guys have with the FRER? False positives pretty obvious? I am nervous now!
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@jaguar: yes, pink lines that weren’t even squinters. I had 9 of them from different boxes even in March
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@LAZB: omg they are so dark. That is really scary! What a cruel disappointment.
My internet cheapie sticks are still pretty negative so I'll be nervous for a good few days now.
pomegranate / 3764 posts
Ok so today's stick is *slightly* darker for what it's worth. At least it's an early beta (Wednesday) with my new clinic. I guess bright side is that it's trying to implant?
nectarine / 2648 posts
@jaguar: Now that one looks good! Don't feel like I have to squint or focus at all to see that pink line. This looks different than the false lines I was getting on FRER.
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@LAZB: not by much.. But we will see what happens!
@yellowbeach: I am slightly worried still... not much I can do but wait. And panic
pomegranate / 3764 posts
Ok so more bleeding this morning. They got me in this morning for a progesterone blood test to see if it is too low. She said it was too early for a pregnancy test (from an initial clinic test perspective) but I hope they can confirm that something is happening.
FRER doesn't seem to be darkening. But Digi says yes! My head feels like it is going to explode. 7dp5dt.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@jaguar: awesome! I bled with my first two, can be totally normal (although I know it’s totally disconcerting)
nectarine / 2648 posts
@jaguar: Yeah I have @FoodieBee’s same question - if not 7dp5dt then will they do a beta?
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@LAZB: I had bleeding with Claire but not this early. All my miscarriages ended with low numbers first and then bleeds after. All a big wait and see at this point!
@foodiebee: @yellowbeach: Official beta is tomorrow (9dp5dt) - don't ask me why two days makes such a difference!!! I never heard back yesterday about the progesterone results so I'm ringing later today once Georgia is at school.
Pee sticks are making me anxious!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
Well, I just got a message from my FS to say to increase to 3 pessaries per day instead of 2 - so obviously that's a bit of a worry. Didn't confirm or deny a pregnancy though, which is going to drive me insane waiting to find out. I'm back in tomorrow morning for the official blood draw, so who knows?

Here is today's 13dpo (with the others for good measure) in the meantime 🤞🤞

Annnnd more spotting. I am getting a pit in my stomach over this one.
kiwi / 662 posts
@jaguar: Agreed about the progression! I've heard plenty of stories of spotting and healthy pregnancies, so keep those positive thoughts going!!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
Thanks guys. I'm packing it. Sitting here waiting for the results from this morning's beta and praying for a nice, pleasant phone call.

Ok... 14dpo hcg is 113. I have a history of crappy low hcg levels (in good AND bad pregnancies) so I am hoping this is okay. Bloods say PREGNANT!

@jaguar: sending lots of good vibes & sticky baby dust! I had spotting early during both my early mc and the pregnancy with my now almost 4yo! ️🤞 Hope you get reassurance all's well soon!

@GoGoSnoGirl: Thanks lovely xx One day at a time now. At least our little emby has tried hard to implant!

@jaguar: Yay! Here's hoping your good news starts a trend for this board!
pomegranate / 3904 posts
Ok, we went for our nurse appointment this morning, things are rolling along. If my test results aren’t back, we can’t do the retrieval next month, but otherwise we are good to go. All of the meds and timing is confusing, but I think I will be ok.
My karyotype testing came back normal, so we are waiting on dh’s, and also both of our genetic carrier testing.

@LAZB: Our coordinator gave us a calendar with exactly what to do every day, which was really helpful. Will you get this?
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@foodiebee: yep, she said once I start my period they will give me a more detailed calendar. For now it’s just a few days of instructions. It’s probably not that complicated, I am just anxious and that makes me overwhelmed and confused. I’m sure it will be fine once I’m actually doing it

@yellowbeach: so as you know, I stalk this board semi regular. I remembered you mentioning a consult with Dr. Braverman the other day (I think). I just saw where he passed away.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: yep. It’s a huge loss for the field. And of course selfishly it just feels like one more step in the deck being stacked against us. I mean died, really? Surreal.
I head to the RE in an hour for labs and an ultrasound to see if we are still on track for May 13 transfer.
