    @msmug: holy batman! 52 eggs retrieved! Wow. How are you handling the bloat?
    I thought about you the other day, but i wasn't sure if it was safe to ask you about your next steps. I'm happy you didn't give up, and i look forward to reading about your bfp soon.

    @msmug: what in the whaaat?? That's amazing! What is your AFC to get 57 eggs?! Here's to hoping you never ever have to go through another fresh cycle with all those frozen embies! Looking forward to your updates

    @leialou - I was definitely super emotional and even burst into tears at work a few days before the retrieval. My boss was like "are you ok?" which made me cry harder and I half-jokingly yelled at him to stop asking me that. LOL! Poor guy...

    @apex - thanks for thinking of me. I'm SOO bloated right now. And I can't walk without hunching over and waddling.

    @shutterbug - what's AFC? Hopefully a lot of these will continue to divide and make it to the freezing stage! I have 1 frozen embie left from my first natural cycle (but we only had 3 frozen that time).

    Since the ET is being canceled for this cycle, I've already got a FET scheduled for December 12! If I thought the 2ww was torture... now we're talking another 8 weeks! lol

    @msmug: OMG!!!!! You had a ton of eggs up there!!! I felt completely bloated with only 15, I can't even imagine over 50!!!! The next 8 weeks will be long, but seriously try to enjoy it. I loved every minute of our month off before the FET.

    @Apex: I'm feeling pretty good. I hate this waiting. I am trying not to symptom spot, but it's so hard not to!!! I haven't decided yet if I am going to test before my beta or not. On one hand I want to be prepared if it is bad news, but on the other hand....I don't want to see another negative HPT.

    @Apex: Thanks for checking in!

    All of you will know before my husband even knows.....I just got a call from my RE - It's positive!!!!!!! My beta is 225!! I have the second beta on Saturday, but right now it's positive!

    Now, how do I tell my DH? I know he is going to call in a little bit to see, but I almost want to surprise him when I get home. Any ideas? or should I just cave and tell him?

    @msmug: Wow, 57 is crazy! I'm no expert since I'm still waiting for my first round of IVF but from everything I've read that is off the charts. What a great stash to have for November

    Thanks everyone! We are very excited! I still have one more beta to go through, but this is the most pregnant I have ever been!!! I ended up telling DH when he called yesterday. I couldn't keep it to myself.

    @Leialou: I agree, I think you are next!!!!

    I think we're due for some updates around here.

    @justdarling: How did your second beta go?

    @msmug: How did those embryos do? Hopefully plenty made it to freeze!

  31. justdarling

    apricot / 452 posts

    @Mrs.Someone: It went really good. My first was 225 and my second was over 600. They didn't give me the exact number but said it was over 600. My RE requires weekly betas and progesterone numbers until my first ultra sound so I will be having a 3rd beta on Thursday. My first ultra sound is set for the 11th. This all seems a little surreal.

  32. msmug

    apricot / 403 posts

    @Justdarling: Congrats!!! So exciting!

    @Mrs.Someone: They didn't get to freeze as many embryos as I'd hoped... They froze 5. I'm still super grateful that we had any at all to freeze (though after retrieving 57 and dealing with hyperstim, it would have been nice to know there was more to freeze so I'd hopefully never have to go through the stimming process again..) Either way though.. 5 from this cycle plus 1 frozen from my first natural cycle.. 6 frozen total. Grateful and happy for that!

    @msmug: 6 frozen is a great result!!!

    @justdarling: Yay, great news!

    @msmug: Interesting. Have they given you any reasoning for why there are so many to start with but few to freeze? Great that you have 6 to work with though!

    Hi everyone! It's my first time posting, but I'm hoping to join this supportive community. I'm 5dp5dt and I'm feeling quite miserable. Throughout my cycle, I was doing so well and staying so positive and optimistic. Now, as we inch closer to beta day, I'm starting to feel very uneasy and stressed out. Anyone else in the same boat? I know there is nothing to do but wait, but it's so hard.

  38. LovelyPlum

    eggplant / 11408 posts

    @OMM4: hi, welcome! Glad you're here This thread has had some great news lately, so I am hopeful you continue the trend! I didn't do IVF, so I'm not much help on that front. But the anxiety while waiting is still killer. And waiting is ROUGH. Sending every manner of positive thoughts and sticky baby dust to you!

    Can I ask, how many did you transfer?

  39. OMM4

    coffee bean / 25 posts

    @LovelyPlum: Thank you for the kind words. We transferred one and have two frozen.
