@Banana330: I don't have any but I'll probably pee in a cup and then go grab one lol.
I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up yet but I'll update in the morning!

@mrskansas: I definitely see it. My only caution is not to put the lh strip right next to the pregnancy test -- supposedly the chemical or dye can run?! Next one just take the pregnancy test!

  3. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@winniebee: yikes never heard that before! However I did dip the hcg test before the lh!

I definitely see it now but of course I'm worried that's it's too light for 11 dpo

@mrskansas: I don't even know if there is much truth to that. Someone here told me that once so I'm just relaying the info!

@azjax: I'm sorry for your loss. I had one in November and it really takes some innocence out of the whole process ya know?

@mrskansas: I see it!! Did you dip at same time as LH strip??

Edit: just saw your response. Test with an FRER tomorrow!!

So we just BD'ed after getting home from a night of food and DRANKS....and DH had some AF on him when we were done (TEE. EM. EYE). I jumped off the bed and went, "Yes!!!!" So I'm pretty sure AF is coming tomorrow. Go figure! 72 day cycle, but 14 day luteal phase. My first cycle was 35 days and 25 day luteal phase. What the feezy?!

I hope I'll still be able to POAS for this month!

@azjax: So very sorry for your loss. Sending you hugs and positive thoughts and sticky baby dust for the next cycle!

@mrskansas - EEK!!! Can't wait to see your FRER tomorrow!

I used another Wondfo this morning since I don't have a FRER yet and there may be the tiniest shadow of a line but it looks negative to me. Not sure what happened!

  12. periwinklebee

@mrskansas: My cheapy has only the tiniest shadow of a line at 12dpo, there is no way I'd see it if I wasn't really accustomed to squinting at negative tests. But it's super clear on the FRER. I know they are really expensive, but if you have a chance to get one it might give clearer answers with a long afternoon hold.

    @junebugsmama: @theotherstark: @knittylady: Thank you!

Now starts the obsessive peeing on things. I don't want to drive myself crazy, but at the same time seeing the line get darker would make me feel a bit more at ease, though I know it's no guarantee of anything. Any avid POASers who've been pregnant before know how long it usually takes the test line to be as dark as the control? This morning looks about like yesterday afternoon, which I assume is fine...I should wait more time between

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@periwinklebee: I'll probably get one today and use it tomorrow but I wasn't convinced by last night's test. If it does turn out to be negative I am not going to be upset because I was not feeling great about this month!

  15. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@periwinklebee: mine were as dark as the control about 4.5 weeks with my daughter

  16. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@periwinklebee: you need to leave two days for hcg doubling. By 17-18 dpo you should have crazy dark lines. I'm using the clear blue weeks estimator tests but to jump categories I find I have to test weekly.

@mrskansas: Thank you! And That is a really good perspective.

@Banana330: Thank you! I will probably test again Monday to give it a chance to double...Do you have a first appt scheduled yet?

I ran out and bought an FRER since I saved my FMU. There is the faintest of lines that is barely visible so if I am in fact 12 dpo that's not good. I'll wait till tomorrow and take another and see what happens.

  19. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

@mrskansas: I think it's pretty common for it to be faint at 12dpo.

  20. knittylady

    pomegranate / 3212 posts

@mrskansas: can you take a pic? I think a lot can be normal at this point. Would you be able to go in for hcg labs for peace of mind?

  21. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@knittylady: I tried taking a picture and it's not visible. And if it does turn more positive tomorrow I'll start betas on Monday because of my ectopic

@mrskansas: I wouldn't stress about a faint line at 12 DPO, you don't know when implantation occurred which can affect your hcg at this point. Can you post a pic?

Thanks for the support ladies! I really don't think I'm pregnant but I'll update yall tomorrow!

@mrskansas: if there's no picture, then it didn't happen! But it seems like you're unsure of ovulation so you could be much earlier.

@mrskansas: sorry you are feeling out, hopefully in another day or two you get a strong positive

  27. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@winniebee: yes definitely unsure of ovulation but it would be unlikely for it to be any later than 12/26 because my CM dried up. This is the picture I did take and it looks so negative to me lol

You guys I had a major panic moment this morning because I thought I had completely screwed up the Clomid thing this cycle! When I spoke to a nurse from the RE office on Thursday she said I should start it on Friday night.

I had a very short time window between work, a friend's going away dinner and the pharmacy closing to pick up my Clomid (because apparently it takes 24+ hours to put five pills in a bottle). And of course I did not make it to the pharmacy on time last night! So this morning I picked it up but I was all panicked that I had completely screwed up this cycle. I called my RE's office and the answering service paged the doctor on call who said it was fine to start tonight. Then later a nurse called me and said she'd talked to my doctor and that I should actually start tomorrow night. I guess they either have people start on CD 3 or 5 - I have no idea why they don't want me to start on CD 4, but whatever.

Anyway I am just so happy that trying with Clomid won't be screwed up this cycle. And I'm super impressed with my RE office's responsiveness and everyone's willingness to answer my questions on a Saturday!

In about an hour I am leaving for my acupuncture appointment. They are going to advise on herbal medicine as well. I'll let you know what I learn!!
