@periwinklebee: for reference, these are the 2 tests I took with my daughter. The top was when my beta was 199 and the bottom my beta was 1,060 or something. Barely any difference!

@Kemma: congrats!
@periwinklebee: totally go get betas done, I find them reassuring but you'll need to get them done twice.

@Kemma: congrats! My good friend got pregnant with her 3rd the night before her husbands vasectomy! They like to call him their "wild card" baby haha... she was in the middle of getting her masters but all worked out in the end and they couldn't be happier

@knittylady: If I ovulate on day 14 (no idea when I will!) I can POAS on Jan 31 otherwise I'll be going into Feb.

@knittylady: ah, thanks for updating that. I dropped the ball!

@Synchronicity: haha no worries! I just kept wanting to stare at it, because that's what will make me pregnant obviously.
@mrskansas: I'll add you just in case!

HCG came back at 114, which seems fairly standard for 15dpo. I will get draws again Thurs and Sat to check for doubling. Great advice on getting betas - a number is so much more informative than staring at lines!

So now that my period is over I'm thinking ahead... when do you guys start OPKs? I haven't had a true "cycle" since August so I'm not sure how long my cycles are but I ovulated 14 days after my hCG was 0 from the ectopic and about 10 days after my hCG was 0 from the miscarriage.
I am assuming I'll ovulate somewhere around day 14 so considering I'm CD 4, maybe I should start using them day 8 just in case?

@mrskansas: I say yes! Start with one around 1pm maybe and then as they get darker/you're closed to cd10-14 you could do 10am and 2pm?
As for me, I'm 2-3 DPO and just went to the bathroom and had a crazy amount of CM. Take it as a good thing??

@knittylady: Yes from my experience that means your progesterone is nice and high!
I think I'll have to do around 5 PM when I get home from work. That should be an ok time right? All my positives have been at night so hopefully that stays the same!

My BBT and OPKs showed up today. Guess I'm getting into it for this cycle! Knowledge is power, right?

@Mrs. K: @knittylady: Weirdly enough this was a month where I didn't seem to have my normal symptoms that appear around 7-9dpo. No tender breasts, no spotting, no acne...I thought for sure I was out. Around the time of the BFP, I started feeling a bunch of pinching sensations that got progressively stronger. That was definitely the main sign. I think they were there before, but to faint to pay much attention to. I also noticed a very sensitive sense of smell and waking up in the middle of the night.

@Synchronicity: I bought OPKs yesterday too. I figure it can't hurt! Good luck to you!!

@mrskansas: I usually just start right the day after my period is done and I do it around 5pm when I get home from work. Your plan sounds good!

I have convinced and unconvinced myself a million times today that I'm pregnant. My acne has been horrendous, I felt exhausted yesterday, I've felt some tugging near my hip, but I think it may be a little high to be implantation cramping, and my breasts are starting to get a little tender. With my son exhaustion was my first symptom days before I got a positive test. Sore breasts didn't come until later, but I know each pregnancy can be different.
I am 9-10 DPO depending on when I actually ovulated and I had a stark white test this afternoon. I usually spot a day or two before I start my period and so far I haven't spotted. I usually only have a 10-11 LP so I'm getting anxious for the next few days to test! We will see what happens in a few days.

Omg I just took my pregnancy test out of the trash from this afternoon and you guys I see the squintiest squinty line. It could be an evap, but I have seen sooo many negative tests that I think it could turn into something. It is almost impossible to see in the pic, but there is something there in person.

@Boopers: I think I see something! Take a FRER in the morning if you have one.

the tww is dragging.... waiting for a bfp or af to show up is as intense as the countdown to Christmas for a 5 year old...

@Boopers: I see it!! Plus with all your symptoms it sounds like a ! Take another one in a couple days if you can. Keep us posted! Yay!!

So I took another wondfo this morning and there is a really faint line within the window. I am going to get some FRER today and use it tomorrow.
