So glad my friend is coming to visit from tomorrow until AF day! And it's also my birthday in less than a week! Hopefully his visit will be an actual distraction and I won't just talk his ear off about TTC. He is a sweet sensitive soul so I know he will let me go on and on about it.

Me again... do you guys get watery cm before ewcm? If so, how many days do you get of watery before it turns?
I have quite a bit of watery cm and I think in the past it has usually turned to ewcm within a day or two.

@mrskansas: My CM is different literally every cycle.

@bizwitch: I wish our bodies would just send us a text or something saying, btw EWCM coming soon. lol.
I hate having no control over any of this!

@mrskansas: I don't even worry about CM anymore. We bought pre-seed and just use that when BD.

@bizwitch: same here. I can never distinguish a pattern. We have also just been using a little preseed. Sorry @mrskansas: I have no good experience to share. But yes, a little text update would be nice lol

@mrskansas: I'm hoping I actually ovulate early this cycle. I'm so bad at checking CM. I agree with the text message. That would be nice!

Symptom spotting over here. I know it's too early (6PO), but someone on my street used a new fertilizer or something and it had my dry retching walking the dog this dog. Already POAS, even though I know it's basically impossible, and nothing. I got a pack of 30 Internet cheapies, so will be POAS at least daily for the next week or so (DH is a terrible influence, I think if it was the other way around, he would have been peeing on sticks for days already)

My recent OPK from 5:45pm isn't quite dry yet (I think), but I'm hoping it's slowly getting darker? I really don't wanna end up ovulating on CD58 like last cycle. 😒

@junebugsmama: Dang it. At least it's a new cycle, clean slate. Hope the next cycle is the one! 🙏

@Properpie: blech, 6dpo-10dpo is the worst. It's early, but you can't help it! At least you have cheapies. It satisfies the itch to POAS!!

@madisonbee: looks like it's getting darker to me. I'm on day 13 and none of mine have been that dark!

  14. Synchronicity

    grapefruit / 4089 posts

    @madisonbee: definitely getting darker!!

I'm not sure what's going on. I'm on CD 14, OPKs seemed to be getting slightly darker over the last 5ish days and now both of them that I took today are lighter. I definitely never got a positive though.... Ugh. I'm not sure if tracking all this stuff is making me more or less anxious.

  15. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Synchronicity: I'm there too. Mine were getting darker and now there is almost no 2nd line at all

  16. Synchronicity

    grapefruit / 4089 posts

@mrskansas: ugh!! Sorry, friend. I didn't even expect to O until CD18ish so now I have no idea what's going on.

  17. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Synchronicity: well we are in the trenches together, lol. I'm tempted to just get rid of all the opks and wing it. It's so stressful

  18. Synchronicity

    grapefruit / 4089 posts

@mrskansas: I hear ya! OPK wrappers galore in this trench! The novelty of peeing on things wears off quickly.

  19. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Synchronicity: yeah I'm over it. It may be really liberating to just say f#ck it and just let it happen

  20. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@mrskansas: @Synchronicity: If it's any consolation, my CD6 and CD7 OPKs were stark white, which is why I didn't even put it with the rest.

@mrskansas: true. Seeing lighter lines today really messed with me and I'm in a fuck it frame of mind tonight. I'm still chugging along with temping and that seems to be going OK, so we will see what happens there. I honestly wanted to just go with the flow for the first 3 or 4 cycles but I've got this obsessive personality and I'm having trouble letting go.

@madisonbee: I would be less concerned if it was earlier on but on CD14 I really feel like the lines should not be getting lighter without seeing a positive, you know? I'm annoyed with my body. Lol.

  22. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@Synchronicity: Ok, you have a point. I think we're all annoyed with our body.

The only thing I'm doing more consistently now to see if it helps with my cycles is working out on a daily basis. And that happened closer to when I o'd last cycle on cd58 and the previous cycle on cd10 (I took a break from working out in between because I was lazy). Maybe for my body, that's what kick starts the engines!

@madisonbee: good for you lady! I have been trying to practice some yoga every day but I'm not great about sticking with it.

  24. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Synchronicity: I was doing some research last night and I read that LH can actually drop before it peaks. Maybe that's why our tests were darkening and then got lighter?
I'm hoping that is the case since I'm on CD 14 now!

  25. Mrs. K

@mrskansas: I actually took a break from the opk's for a couple cycles because it became too stressful trying to time everything correctly.

@knittylady: any updates from your midwife?

  27. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Mrs. K: Yeah I'm really considering stopping for a while. I figure if we have sex every day/every other day we will catch the egg, whenever it happens.

  28. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Mrs. K: How have you been feeling? You're going for betas soon right?

  29. Synchronicity

    grapefruit / 4089 posts

@mrskansas: I've read the same thing. I'm going to keep using them for this cycle because I want to see how this all plays out.

  30. Mrs. K

    apricot / 308 posts

@mrskansas: that's exactly what we figured too. I just was usuing the digital opk and I started to feel like the anticipation to ovulate and timing bd was stressing me out. I'm feeling good just a little bloated a little cramping and a little scared that AF will show up. I took another FRER this morning and the line was darker- not sure how reliable that is but it was reassuring at the least. Going in for blood confirmation and betas this morning and hoping that gives me more reassurance that I'm actually pregnant even though I don't feel much at this point!

  31. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@Mrs. K: hopefully betas give you some peace of mind! And as far as symptoms go, I had nothing with my daughter until at least 6 weeks!

  32. Mrs. K

    apricot / 308 posts

@mrskansas: oh whew! That's definitely helpful to hear, thank you! fingers crossed for you this month!!

@knittylady: did you test again this morning?

  34. knittylady

    pomegranate / 3212 posts

@mrskansas: no, af is due today and I thought I'd just see if she shows. We'll see if I last this afternoon though!

  35. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@Mrs. K: Oooh keep us updated! The betas will probably be much more reassuring than those pesky lines. No second guessing!

  36. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@knittylady: I'm impressed by your willpower!

  37. knittylady

    pomegranate / 3212 posts

@mrskansas: haha we'll see. I go back and forth between thinking a waning line or bfn would be better than discovering af or not. I have no
    Idea...

  38. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@knittylady: CPs can delay AF by days sometimes, so I would rather test and know what to expect. If I don't test I hold out hope and then it's even more crushing when AF shows up.

  39. jhd

    coconut / 8079 posts

It's hard to see in the pic but my opk was lighter today. We BD last night and the night before so hopefully we caught O. I'm not sure if we can do three nights in a row!

@jhd: I think your timing sounds good!

ETA: It's really nice to see your progression since you didn't have much of a "fade in" pattern. I'm hoping mine do the same as yours soon!
