Does anyone have a Jeep Liberty? Is it easy to get an infant in and out of? We are looking at one this weekend. I'm concerned about getting in and out of it at 7 1/2 months pregnant and how easy it will be to get the baby in and out of.
Thanks!

I don't personally have one, but a good friend does. She is 7 months pregnant and has a 2 year old. She loves it and has no troubles!

We use to and I would say it would be fine. We currently have a Nissan Xterra Sport and it's a PAIN to get in and out of. But it's do-able. The liberty was lower so you should be fine.

I had a 2002 jeep liberty (rear wheel drive-not 4 wheel drive) I owned it for about 6 years and put 100k miles on it. I very much preferred driving the jeep over a sedan. I liked being higher up on the road. I had no problems getting and and out of the car but I know when I would drive my grandparents around they would have a lot of problems. I don't have kids so i've never tried a baby seat.
I just traded in my jeep for a kia soul. My main issues with the jeep were the MPGs - I commute about 40 miles a day and it cost a small fortune to keep the tank full. And the safety in bad weather. I live near philly and we get more ice than snow. Not having 4WD was probably my biggest mistake and I got stuck often, slid often and just generally didn't feel in control in the rain, snow or sleet.
Otherwise it was a great car with lots of cargo space. I've moved into and out of like 3 apartments with it, hauled furniture, boxes, pets.
