I've been a tiny bit "ragey" (@Sams Mom: word) today and I don't know why. Like EVERY. LITTLE. THING. makes me want to scream π€¬ at someone. I am usually never like this. I am only at CD2 ... There is no excuse. π€¦ββοΈ (Perhaps the post ovulatory E2 drop? IDK, I am seriously losing my sh!t today.)

@Kaohinani: early pregnancy is not a good time for the women in my family π€£
I have so much rage that I have to keep in check the first month or so

@Sams Mom: Lady, IDK how you do it. I'm losing it. I mean, IF it meant I was BFP, I would take it (I would feel terrible for DH and my kiddos, though!), but seriously. Right now, I'm just so angry for no conceivable reason ... like Luna wanted to go outside after I JUST let Pili in (and I had already begun to walk in the office to grade papers); I was like, "Luna, WTH! DO YOU WAIT FOR ME TO WALK OUT OF THE ROOM?!?! Stupid dog!" I am NEVER like that. I was berating the dog for having to go out. Poor, Luna! I have also yelled at G for not putting away his toys "properly" (No Joke. π) and T for not picking up her room before she went off to a b.day party (normally, I'd make her clean it when she returned but, TODAY, I flipped.). I, honestly, do not know what is going on with me... This isn't me.

Our celebration has come and gone and it was awesome!
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning we had rehearsals and on Saturday afternoon a procession of 47 000 participants walked from the city center to the Song Festival grounds to the first, a bit more academic concert.
The big Song Festival concert took place on Sunday and lasted for seven hours, all the different choir groups preformed separately and then there was the grand finale with 25 000 singers on the stage. There was over 100 000 people on the Song Festival grounds counting all the performers and audience, that may not sound like much, but it's nearly 10% of our whole population. Everyone else was watching it all on TV.
It was super crowded and long and tiring and hot and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. That's the one time our solitude and personal space favouring people don't mind standing shoulder to shoulder and breathe as one.
I'll add some pictures!
An aerial view of a bit of the procession.
The stage as seen from the hilltop.

And two more pictures. The sea of flags on the stage and the view from the stage when the audience lit their phone lights.

So, today has been a pretty decent day. I had my post surgical follow-up with my RE (with the 2 kiddos in tow ππ€£). My DS sat in the office and played with his magnetic puzzle (and a model of the female reproductive tract because my RE allowed him to and was humored by it) while my DD "designed a home" on her Kindle. π€¦ββοΈππ€£
π€£
I digress, after my blood was drawn, he and I discussed my surgery, the findings (* I have lovely images as a takeaway), and how we will move forward.
The news: Last month (before finding the Endo) and after my AMH took a nose-dive, he told me my next move was straight to IVF --- Post cystectomy and lap for Endo, he would like DH and I to try naturally this and next cycle (duh, we were! π€£), then a SINGLE shot at IUI in AUG, then onto the IVF train (because of my AMA)! He thinks my Stage 2 "silent" Endo may have played a large part in why DH and I have yet to conceive. At this point, I'm just so excited and hopeful!
I really hope I am pregnant; however, it is fantastic to know we have a plan AND options.

i got my period saturday - not a big surprise. i quite my job, got a new one. my last day is next friday and then we go to portugal; looking like my fertile period will line up with our trip. maybe the stress of my job behind me and some fresh beach air will do the trick!

@Kaohinani: I'm late to the party, but I'm going to jump in here:
β’ Cycle Day: CD 31
β’ TTC Cycle (or months TTC): 3
β’ Ovulation Date: ? I dunno, due to DH's infection, I stopped testing because I was discouraged. Now I'm pissed at myself lol
β’ POAS Date: 7/12
β’ Baby #:2
So, I was expected AF this weekend, and she no showed. I took a test yesterday and it was , so if AF doesn't show this week I'll test again Friday morning. I adjusted my cycle length to 35 days and we hit the green, so, there is a little hope.....but the antibiotics dh was on can decrease sperm count, so, who knows!

@maybebaby: Thank you! I love having options.
As for you, I am hoping that the sun, sand, some relaxation, and quality time with your DH is what the doctor ordered and results in a GORGEOUS BFP! π€ If we don't see you back on here by the time you leave (between being busy with the new job and packing), have a spectacular time!
@JennyLayneAZ: Thank you , and welcome back.
I hope your late AF is a lazy BFP! π€ If not, good luck
this cycle. I will update the POAS roster immediately.

@bhbee: @crazydoglady: @Kaohinani: @JennyLayneAZ: You're all welcome to plan your next European vacation around 1.-3.07.2022 for the Youth Song Festival (only a bit smaller than the big festival and a lot more singing children) or 5.-7.07.2024 for the next big festival like it was this year.
There were three choirs from the US participating this year. One lady came to chat at a bus stop (I was wearing my folk costume so she probably felt pretty safe we were headed in the same direction) and said that she had been visiting a few years ago in December, had seen the Song Festival grounds and decided she had to come back to sing, so they learned the songs in Estonian and got to come.

@Kaohinani: That's some great news, maybe it won't come to IVF at all! I'm crossing all of my toes and most of my fingers!
The pictures are very interesting to see too, thank you!
@maybebaby: I'm sorry about AF, but congratulations on the job change and have a nice (and fertile) trip!
@JennyLayneAZ: Hopefully your BFP is just a late bloomer.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@paranundrum: Thank you! I hope it does not come to IVF (as while I am fully committed, it has been so difficult juggling DH and my schedules along with that of the kiddos -- T with classes and clubs, G with his speech therapy and appts. π). The IVF clinic is "nearly" a 3 hour drive away while my RE (who does all my scans, bloodwork, and would do IUI) and his affiliated hospital (for surgery) are both only 30 minutes from my home and 7 minutes from the university. In any case, I'm truly hoping something great comes from the next 6 mos [hopefully, sooner].
As for the festival, it looks as though it was so much fun! My 20-something self (sans 2 children and 2 dogs) would have taken time off from work and would have planned a trip to attend such an event. What an experience it must have been! If I can orchestrate child and pet care (family all live states away), perhaps a festival trip in 2024 may be something my DH and I may look into.

@Kaohinani: Let me know when you get here, I'll show you the sights! And the kids can come too! There are a lot of fun places to visit around here for the whole family and nothing is more than a four (or so) hour drive away from the capital.

So I really thought AF was coming (3 days of spotting, cramps). I didnβt even bother to test, and we had a lot going on with our move (just found out our central air is dead and we need a whole new unit ).
Yesterday morning the spotting went away, when I should have been bleeding more heavily, so I took a test, and it was positive! Definitely not expecting it! (The symptoms were totally different this time around, tooβno breast pain at all, and last pregnancy that was my first hint. Still breastfeeding my 9-month-old, not sure if that has anything to do with it).
Fingers crossed for lots of July BFPS!!!

After wallowing in shopping and ice cream am feeling better. Not sure if I will join to POAS next month but will definitely be there to cheerlead and ogle the HPTs lol.
I just got a referral to local fertility clinic (was with a recurrent loss clinic) just for another opinion and Iβll decide what to do from there!

@fuzzypeaches: Shopping and ice cream sounds like wonderful therapy. We all understand if you are not on the board next month, but do know that you will be terribly missed. I am glad to read of your referral... hopefully, they will be able to afford you promising answers. Hugs.

I'm officially out. We DTD O-4 and then decided to put this month on hold. I would really feel better if we can get this breast abscess in the clear and get my 6 month scans done. The antibiotics are also doing a number on my system.
Also, my coworker suddenly passed away (29) and my niece was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. We have been on an emotional rollercoaster. I know pregnancy after loss will not be easy for me and I would rather wait until August when we are on more stable emotional ground.
I'll still pop in on occasion to cheer you all on.

I literally just cried because Chick-fil-A gave me a grilled chicken sandwich instead of a spicy chicken sandwich. No one goes to Chick-fil-A for grilled chicken, no one. Why!?
