MIL called this morning and told me to make potato salad so I am going to the store after work! I need to look for a recipe...

It's 8:24a here and I'm still in bed.
I'm having my IUI at noon today. FX
Then just hanging out at home. Not seeing fireworks because we don't want to deal with traffic.
ETA- oh, we'll be watching the dogs and see how they freak out from all fireworks going off. My one dog was behind the couch last night.

This house is still not clean but DH has to go to work in two hours. Lord knows I'm not getting much done without him. BBQ at my parents' house later.

LO and I have the day off (we're in Canada though) so we went for my ultrasound this morning then hung out at the aquarium, met DH for lunch and stroller napping now. Lovely day so far

I am working and exhausted. Worked until midnight last night and had to get up at 5 and continue today thanks to people being off at the same time when they shouldn't be
Once I'm done my last call at 330 I will be opening a bottle of wine.

@autumnlove: our costco is closed - they always close on holidays. It was a madhouse Wednesday and Thursday
We had a pancake breakfast together. DH and LO went outside to do some yard work - we're tearing out all the shrubs and bushes in the front and going to redo it. I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Then made a ton of strawberry cheesecake bites for a 4th of July party we're heading to this afternoon.

It's not 4th of July here, but we have a yearly rodeo that is a week long, and it starts today. There is a parade today and there are pancake breakfasts and fireworks all week long, too.
well, I mean, it IS the 4th of July, but not a holiday.

I am off from work, thank God! We were planning to go to the beach for Fourth of July festivities, but I don't think we are going to make it. So, just hanging around the house and doing odd and end things.

I'm waiting for LO to wake up from nap to go to my sister's for BBQ and pool. We toed bikes to get coffee this morning. Were going to keep both boys up for fireworks tonight. Fun/scary!

Just catching up to this now on July 5th.
yesterday wasn't a holiday here either, but we did take DS to jump on the trampolines on the Danube, so that was fun for him. @bluestriped bee: good luck!!!
