I'm here for a little while. Sitting on the couch with LO doing our mandatory 30 minutes of upright time after eating (to battle her reflux). It's a dreary day here in Nashville so I think we'll be doing a lot of couch cuddle time.

@MamaMoose: We got rain coming tonight. Going to be dreary here too. I am going to be stuck home inside with LO all day tomorrow while DH works and there is no way I'm going to a mall!

I'm pumping at work. Taking a break to HB.
I'm thirsty so, I need to go get some water when I'm done. I'm trying to get better but just can't seem to help getting sick everytime my lo is sick!! Gah! My immune system is crap so I knew this would happen but I didn't realize how much it would affect me and our life. Blah.

I'm here and working!!!! My first two appointments of the morning were no-shows and instead of doing actual work, I'm on HB.

It's my day off so I am home with my DS... trying to recover from an early wake up (5:30) and get DS back on his nap schedule... He is all thrown off today!

@mrbee: Oooh you guys woke up late! Enjoy breakfast. I gave my LO a zucchini quiche this morning and she actually ate a few bites!

@creativemomma15: We are dealing with early wake ups right now as well. Sometimes as early as 4-4:30! At least this morning she woke up at 4:52 and I was going to let her cry for 8 minutes and she fell back asleep for another 45 minutes, thank goodness!

@Thehistoryofus: We usually wake up around 7 something and start breakfast around 8:30? They both get a little milk to start the day and give us time to start the day!

Speaking of food...I gave M strips of cooked sweet potato last night. She really had fun smooshing it and feeding it to the dogs. I'm not sure she actually got any in her mouth.
It was fun to watch her play with her food, though. She was so serious about it!!

@Thehistoryofus: 5:30 doesn't sound too bad now... So sorry! Yesterday LO was in and out from 4... It's hard to know what changed since he had been like clockwork waking at 6:30. I feel like just when you feel like they have a good routine, something interrupts it!

@creativemomma15: Yes, their schedule is constantly changing! The worst is that by 9 am I am wide awake and ready to get out of the house but there is no where to go!

@Thehistoryofus: Yeah we weren't supposed to be off -- Christmas Eve and NYE aren't holidays for us because we have a customer service department that needs to be here -- but since they were on Mondays and we're a smaller company this year, they decided to give us those days off!

Just attempting to nurse a sleepy baby who happens to wake right up when I unlatch her, but once she is back on she suckles and passes out. I'm engorged lol please empty!!!

LO decided not to wake up until 9:30 so we got a late start to the morning. Of course she was up a few times last night as usual, but I'm not complaining about the extra hour of sleep.

I'm back at work today! It's only 8:47 am and I'm already bored..... I think it's going to be a long day!

Ugh, so upset I missed a good postathon last night. LMW is going through a bit of a sleep regression and I am EXHAUSTED. Not quite sure what to do-- she's 5.5 months now and we could blame teeth, tummy troubles (hasn't pooped in 4 days!) or swaddle weaning, but it could be time to sleep train soon. She was sleeping thru the night just fine for about 2 weeks so I had my fingers crossed that we wouldn't have to sleep train, but after the past 3 nights I think we will have to
It was so hard to get up for work today. Thankfully there's not much going on at work this week. I woke up to pump at 6am and fell back asleep after I was done...! I was a full hour late to work. Gah.

@highwire: My LO still does this at a year old. It is so hard to unlatch her without waking her up. Sometimes I can pull her off and shove a paci in her mouth but most of the time she recognizes the difference and wakes back up!

I'm just rolling out of bed and getting ready to go to Bible study before work. I would really like to skip it but I keep envisioning the monster latte I am going to buy there as my reward.. -
I'm here. Fur baby woke up super early and DH is working nights. I got up to keep her quiet. I may go back there later this morning for some snuggle time.

We're still on vacation. Baby is sleeping in our room so I'm waiting for her to wake up so I can get dressed. Just drinking coffee and being lazy with the dog

I think I am going to hit up DSW to return a pair of shoes (and buy another pair maybe?) Maybe grab some good lunch while I'm out.

@Thehistoryofus: fur baby fell back asleep at 7:45 and then we got up at 8:45. I'm central time, just slow to get on this thread.

@Thehistoryofus: we're vacationing on east coast. Baby is down for nap. But we've definitely been enjoying having family around. Dd wakes up at 6:30 and we hand her off so we can sleep in (although I never can) DH just woke up!! So jealous
